THE CABALA OF ELVIS

Thousands of devotees converged on Graceland to mark the 35th anniversary of Elvis Presley's death and got a surprise welcome from the King's former wife and daughter – the first time Priscilla and Lisa Marie Presley have appeared together at the annual gathering.

The Cabala explains, A king is not great nor is his even a king without a Matronouta/Female Accompaniment; the reason is clear – Malchut/Royalty is the tenth and final attribute of the Tree of Life or Ten Sefirot/Luminaries. The attribute of Malchut/Royalty is woman.

Whereas the other nine luminaries are are male, finale or a convergence, Royalty is patently woman. Why then is royalty generally known by the male side – King? The difference between the sex of the man and woman is, one is extroverted and the other introverted – revealed and hidden.

Women tend to be more modest than men because of their introverted nature and reticence to be known in public – even in this modern world many women remain veiled. It took 35 years for these woman to come publicly to the side of Elvis on the anniversary of his passing.

Each year, on the date one passes from this world to the next, the soul ascends another step closer to the Creator; now, begins Elvis’ 36th year – written as Chai/Life with the gematria of 18 – twice Chai. Coming public at this time is appropriate for the coming year.

The King Remembered

The Elvis Birthday Bash has become a lot like the man born January 8, 1935 who since his death have been sighted in all sorts of disparate locations as the years have rolled by.

The Zohar-Book of Secret predicts that Moshiach will not come to the earth until the world sees rainbows in the sky; Elvis was the beginning of the rainbow which exploded in the skies during the sixties. Bob Dylan, the Beatles, the Rolling Stones all bowed to the King of Rock and Roll.

In the Hebrew calendar Elvis was born on the fourth day of Shavat the month in which is celebrated the sap coming up into the tree during the full moon–Jewish New Years for the Trees rooted in the element of water. The Cabala explains how water is the source of pleasure; the Talmud-Book of Law says whoever gives pleasure to the people is a sign that God also has pleasure from that person.

Elvis was the seminal beginning of turning war into peace; in his movies and songs Elvis represented a kind-spirited man who reflected a new type of person–Love me Tender. While all the great leaders and masters of war have passed on to ignominy, Elvis lives on.

The Torah says good people even in their demise are still alive in the hearts of the living.
