THE CABALA OF LSD

The Journal of Psychopharmacology reports, LSD may stimulate the formation of new connections and patterns and generally seems to open an individual to an awareness of new perspectives and opportunities for action, particularly in overcoming alcoholism.

In the Sixties, LSD was called: God in a pill, along with a partner pill to prevent pregnancy a new type of freedom was realized. These two new pills dramatically changed the American landscape with the possibility of eradicating religion while freeing up sexual attitudes.

Instead of change, the American system outlawed LSD, with the exception of those studying the effects of the drug in universities, who have discovered that LSD has a positive effect on alcoholics – long suffering from the oppression of governmental oversight and interference.

LSD opens the window of the mind letting in fresh ideas. The idea of freedom has been constrained to making money and living within very rigid social rules; the freedom to love has become a political fight and the freedom to think has been restrained by various drug laws.

The light of the Cabala comes to illuminate all secrets but, like the politician, the rabbis have made restraints on who can learn this secret knowledge. The Cabala teaches, The greatest pleasure happens in the mind and pleasure is the inner ingredient sustaining life.

Sailing into Trouble

The beleaguered BP chief executive, Tony Hayward, attended a yacht race after a hostile interrogation by a US congressional committee on the Gulf Coast oil spill.

The congress is taken a well-worn path forged originally by the Nochus/Serpent who entangled the first human being by persuading the woman to eat from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Bad. When God asked man why he ate the man blamed the woman–the snake took that example transforming into the Satan/Oppose.

The opposing force in creation stems from the Serpent who entices; the congress enticed the oil companies to drill, made inadequate regulations with lax oversight and when there was an accident became outraged at the oil company. So it is with the soul.

The foreign impulse called Yetzer Hora/Bad Picture Maker purposely tries to ensnarl the human being then gives witness against the soul when life has ended and judgment is pronounced. The human being is so familiar with the Yetzer Hora that the meticulous accounting of one’s errant deeds appears traitorous.

What BP did was criminal but what the Congress does is hypocritical–it is hard to know which one is worse. The human soul has an excuse; neither governments nor corporations have souls. The Midrash-Book of Metaphor says in the end God will slay the Yetzer Hora.

Health and Sex

As health overhaul bills head toward the House and Senate floors this month, the divisive issue of abortion is threatening to derail them.

Is sex a health issue? Certainly the caring for the physical sexual organs is a health issue, but what about performance enhancing drugs like Viagra, contraception and abortion?

According to the Laws of the Torah sexuality, other than who and when, is without laws; though Jewish Law through the 613 Commandments fall on every aspect of life sexuality has no restraint or confine. In the previous world of Tohu/Chaos sexuality was dormant.

The human being on planet earth is defining sexuality through our acts and through our understanding of what is sexual–the one obvious place where male and female differ.

The Cabala explains the source of sexuality coming from the primordial building blocks of creation Ore/Light and Kli/Vessel; the light must connect to its spiritual source to be effective while the vessel requires constant upkeep.

According to the Torah: no Viagra, contraception completely at the discretion of the woman and terminating a pregnancy before the conception turns into a child at 41 days as both science, Torah and the Koran concur.

Government expediency is undesirable for settling such matters; the logic of the Torah and Koran needs to be given authority in this subject.
