THE CABALA OF DROUGHT

U.S. corn and soybean crops have been slashed even more than expected by the worst drought in half a century and will fail to replenish ultra-low stockpiles, a U.S. government report showed, raising fears of a new world food crisis.

Ethanol was a bad idea from the beginning unless it can be made from plants that don’t divert from the food chain. As global warming takes hold, our planet will undergo severe weather patterns causing a change in human behavior – pitting greed against cooperation.

Chaos produces wealth for a capitalistic society, allowing the leaders, under the cover of confusion, to divert the direction of the country by encouraging extreme political positions, increases the chaos. Those who stand to make the most from chaos are the very rich.

Food comes from the Kindness of the Creation; droughts come about, according to the Torah, because people are errant in their actions. Cooperation will serve humanity better in this time than will greed; the greedy always takes from the needy, using war as justification.

The Cabala equates drought with the absence of rain; celestial rain is melted from the mantle of heaven by good deeds and righteous prayers directed to the Creator. The time is coming to do more with less so those with nothing will be buoyed by the altruism of others.

CABALA (KABBALAH) OF DROUGHT

A historic drought has depleted Texas aquifers to lows rarely seen since 1948, and it could take months or even years for the groundwater supplies to fully recharge, according to NASA scientists.

Included in the Shema Yisroel/Hear Israel, a commandment to recited daily, morning and evening, are three sections of the Torah/Teaching; the first section is only six words proclaiming God is One, the second section is about love and the third about fear.

In the third section of the Shema the Torah warns: Watch yourself least you turn your heart, serve other gods and bow down to them; God will become angry and close the heavens, there will be no more dew and the ground will dry up – destruction will quickly come.

For a state like Texas, so permeated with right-wing religion producing politicians with extreme view-points, they might take note of this warning. At the end of the Torah is also warns, People will worship in strange ways. Religion is a strange way to worship God.

The Cabala teaches, The meaning of the Shema is to emphasize God's continual presence all the time, everywhere; religion assumes God is spiritual and brings calamity on the world – but, God wants repentance and therefore sends signs for the world to interpret.

World Water Day

Clean water for a healthy world is the theme for World Water Day 2010, celebrated today. Water is a tiny molecule with some highly unusual properties different from other liquids, in fact, by some measures water shouldn't even exist.

Water is found at the very edges of the universe and is ubiquitous throughout the universe, but here on earth water exhibits a strange alteration; all other liquids freeze from within but only water freezes first on the exterior thus saving aquatic life.

In the beginning of the Torah where the creation process is described, God commands the water to seek depth–the opposite nature of water is to cover. It was this change of nature which resulted in the phenomenon of water freezing on the surface.

To God creation is made of water but to man creation is made of fire–what is light to creation is water to the Creator. There is another aspect of water whose metaphor is used in explaining the purity of spiritual knowledge which like the rain comes from a very high place yet remains unchanged once on the earth.

An ancient sign 4000 years ago was water rising to greet those of Abrahamic lineage. The Zohar-Book of Secret says the source of water is from the rock identified as the planet Mars repository of water from within.
