Former Syrian prime minister Riad Hijab appeared publicly Tuesday for the first time since his defection, calling President Bashar al-Assad's government an Enemy of God and saying it is collapsing.
The Cabala explains, The enemy is the Yetzer Hora/The Intimidator, a spiritual energy implanted in the heart of man to skew his actions towards bad; without the Yetzer Hora, the Enemy of God, free choice would be pointless – without people like Assad, freedom fades.
Freedom is won, even the infant has to fight his way out of the womb; it took ten plagues to release the Jewish People from slavery – freedom is fought for and won. Without an enemy freedom would be free. The Yetzer Hora/Intimidator is not the Enemy of God, but the person persuaded.
It is written in the Written Torah/Teaching, God says, I put before you good and bad, chose good. Assad has chosen bad; he has chosen the side of politics over truth and the welfare of his people – he has relinquished his life having been intimidated by the Yetzer Hora.
When the person dies, the Malach HaMavet/Angel of Death, who is also the Yetzer Hora, laughs at the soul who is now embarrassed by his actions. The harshest pain and punishment in heaven is embarrassment; Every person has freedom to chose between God or the Yetzer Hora – choose good.

THE CABALA OF DENIAL
President Bashar al-Assad of Syria denied that his regime had anything to do with the recent Houla massacre, saying that, Not even monsters would carry out such an ugly crime.
The Nile is not just a river in Egypt; the president of Syria is full of denial. The ego is the source of denial – a long river flowing to an ocean of arrogance. Assad only has to look to his father to see what monsters can do. He is a monster, the son of a monster.
Bilaam, the famous non-Jewish prophet prophesied with closed eyes; he lived during the time that Moshe received the Torah/Teaching, called Torat Emet/True Teaching,; the Zohar-Book of Secret teaches, Truth only happens when the eyes are open – Moshe spoke to God face to face.
When the word Emet/Truth was revealed to Moshe, he fell upon his face causing the Rabbis to ask, If Moshe could not stand up to truth then how can we trust in Moshe? Other Rabbis answered saying, Falling upon your face is an act of humility – truth can only be obtained through humility.
The monster refuses to look into the mirror lest he sees what is true. How many people will have to die until this monster is unveiled and the truth is seen? The Cabala, the most hidden of Jewish teachings, teaches: the greatest truth is the light that comes from the darkness.

THE CABALA OF PEACE
China said that it supports the Arab League's proposals for ending the violence in Syria, reflecting Beijing's desire for mediation but aversion to U.N. involvement that could lead to authorizing force, as happened with Libya.
After Russia and their closest ally China lost the Cold War, they also lost their appetite for war; instead these two super powers, one with massive land and resources and the other with massive population, consolidated their take and began rebuilding their countries.
The non-spiritual humanists, Russia and China, balanced between autocracy and democracy, have made enormous steps forward. Ironically, in the West, particularly from right-wing religious extremists, war is the preferred response. Why does religion want to wage war?
War is endemic to religion because fighting for God and country is so much more than just fighting for country; claiming, God on our side, is often the excuse used for murder. When God is not invoked, peace and prosperity come quicker to the people. A king bridges this divide.
