Condensed Worlds

Astronomers have measured the motions of stars in a very distant galaxy and clocked speeds upwards of one million miles per hour. These fast-moving stars shed new light on how these distant galaxies, which are a fraction the size of our Milky Way, may have evolved.

At the end of the Zohar Chodesh-Book of Secret is written a section called Kav Hameda/Measurements; in this section is described how worlds existed prior to creation packed together only a handbreadth apart embedded in OreAinSof/LightWithoutEnd–Hard Light fitted together without space or the necessity of time. According to the Zohar which was composed 2000 years ago creation was not a Big Bang, but a Big Evacuation of the Hard Light to allow space and time for creation.

According to the Torah our solar system is the place of the big evacuation leaving nine orbs orbiting the sun corresponding to the seven continents and the three oceans of the earth patterned by the Ten Sefirot–the cabalisitc atom.

Prior to creation the universe of stars, quasars and black holes were all packed into the space of our solar system. Creation began with the evacuation of space producing distance and time. It is not the star light which has reached us after myriad of years, but the stars which moved at a speed faster than light; some moved in a cluster and never expanded.

Science needs to learn some humility and respect for the ancient knowledge.

The Atom Bomb

On Aug. 6, 1945, the United States dropped an atomic bomb on Hiroshima, Japan, that instantly killed an estimated 66,000 people in the first use of a nuclear weapon in warfare.

In 1906, one week before Rosh HaShana/Head of Year which was 5666 in the Hebrew calendar Albert Einstein published his famous essay E=MC2 leading to the atom bomb forty years later where 66 thousand were killed on the 6th of August. A similar but natural occurrence will happen in the year 2017 or 5777 when Venus transits the sun on the 6th of June which is also D-Day invasion beginning the Allies retaking Europe from the Germans. The 6th of June falls on the 6th of Sivan in that year which is the day when the Torah was given 3500 years ago–a few months later there will be a total eclipse of the sun lasting six minutes which will cross the United States passing through the bible belt from Oregon until South Carolina.

It is noted in the Cabala that six is the number of truth because of its simple form, a vertical line, connecting heaven with earth. The number 45, as in 1945, is the gematria of Adom/Human and now after a hundred years of war the human being is ready disarm.

In Hebrew Sholam/Peace also means Complete because no accomplishment is complete without peace.

Full Moon

In each of the four seasons of the year there is a full moon holiday; today is Tuba Av, the full moon of the summer month of Av, considered in the Talmud-Book of Law to be the greatest of all the Jewish holidays.

In every month save one there are holidays and all the holidays have proscription of celebration and remembrance, but on Tuba Av there is no proscribed celebration; in the time of the Temple 2000 years is recorded in the Talmud-Book of Law how the women would exchange clothing then would go out into the street to entice the boys to marriage.

This day had been known since Moshe was commanded to wander in the wilderness for forty years until the generation of men passed away. Every year on the evening of Tuba Av the men would dig graves and lie down in the the grave to sleep–those who awoke had another year of life. Many good things happened on this day. This day is so high that no specific way of celebration fits.

In the first book of the Cabala, Sefer Yitzira/Book of Form written by Avraham almost 4000 years ago, is described existence without substance called Bli Ma/Without What, essence of existence. One of the aspects of essence is– never seen, unable to be defined.

The Humility of Need

Scientists in Japan have managed to grow fully functional teeth in adult mice using cells from an embryo, and they hope the same technology can be used to grow human organs in the future. "This therapy has the potential to restore the partial loss of organ function," they wrote in their paper published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.

It asks in the Cabala, if the human being is the highest creature of creation then why are we reliant upon the animals and the plants for our lives? The answer arrived at in the Cabala is in order to raise up the world closer to the light of the Creator it is necessary for the highest to come down to the lowest–as Archimedes said ‘Give me a place to stand and with a lever I will move the whole World’; the lever most be inserted at the lowest point.

The human being has a commonality with our environment in that our bones are like stone, our hair like plants, our body and senses like animals, but our soul is human. It is only the highest which can come down the lowest thus requiring the animal, the plant and the earth to sustain life–the implicit message within the arrangement of creation is to be humble.

All things within creation have souls filled with sparks of Godliness divided into four categories according to the Name YHVH; it is known in the world that there are 92 species of plants that are psychotropic–YHVH and Adonai combined have a gematria of 92.

Religious War

On Saturday, a frenzied mob of three thousand Muslims stormed the tiny Pakistani Christian village of Gojra. Enflamed by charges that a Christian had burned pages of the Qur’an, the mob burned down fifty homes, burned eight Christians alive, and wounded twenty others. Thousands of Christians fled the area.

In the Torah there are two types of war, one is war of permission waged against enemies, the other war is one of God; wars between enemies can be tempered and negotiated, but wars for God never end–they are the worst type of war.

The Jewish People are the genesis of warring for God since God commanded the Jewish People to go into the Holy Land and displace the seven kings of Canaan. Later wars were called wars of permission because God gave permission to war if need be and are not considered to be murder.

Just as was over security or resources is a permitted killing, war for hidden malicious reasons can be sold under the guise of war for God. The recent war in Iraq is an example of a holy war being wages under the auspices of war of necessity.

In the Talmud-Book of Law is stated that Moshiach will not come until murder is erradicated. In our time when prophecy no longer exists for thousands of years, no one or group is allowed to proclaim war for God and kill another human being.

The Come and Go of Theories

New University of Washington research indicates it is highly unlikely that comets have caused any mass extinctions or have been responsible for more than one minor extinction event.

After decades of assurances from scientists that comets were responsible for periodic extinction of life on planet earth they have recently reversed themselves due to data received when a comet smashed into the planet Jupiter July 20, 2009. Scientific inquiry is one of proposing then disputing their own theories. Now new text books will have to be written and new theories embraced.

Torah knowledge is different from scientific inquiry in that Torah makes firm statements and challenges the reader to find contradiction, but because of the way the Torah is written the contradictions do not disprove the Torah but cause the student to look deeper into the words and ideas. The Torah promotes ideas tethered to immutable truth because the knowledge comes from the Creator of creation, a firm pillar in the ever-changing sea of relativity.

What keeps truth from becoming dogma is inquiry; the slightest perversion of the text causes havoc within the truth–radically changing perceptions of reality. Science is no different, also seeking true knowledge through inquiry, but lacking that steady hand of the Creator to which all is relative.

The Cabala points out that even though there is nothing new beneath the sun, there is new beyond the sun.

Hustler's Take

Larry Flynt, the notorious publisher of Hustler magazine, tells the president to toughen up, “You need some gonads, Mr. President, and if you don’t have any, as Hillary would say, you’d better grow some.”

Speaking in metaphors from one’s profession is common and the exploitation of sex is probably the oldest and most common of professions. In the Torah the gonads known as Batzim/Eggs are considered the foundation of life as it asks in the book Tanya, “But who gives the power and the strength to the level of genitals to stand up and establish the head and the limbs? Someone who is involved in the laws of the Torah.

God did not create obscenity and neither did Larry Flynt; obscenity is in the intention–there is obviously nothing obscene of the body. As has been stated if nudity was alright we would have been born naked.

As the body matures nudity becomes commiserate with sexuality. The thing about sexuality is that it happens within–it isn’t even seen by the two participants–seeing the act from the outside is exploitation, but obscenity is from intention.

Mr Flynt appears genuinely concerned about the country and he expresses himself according to his profession. As far as Hilary growing gonads, she already has them, they are called the two ovaries. The basic difference between man and woman is one is inside and the other outside.
