People in different parts of the world took to revelry as they celebrated the end of 2011 and ushered in the New Year 2012 at midnight.
These 2,012 years being celebrated are the years of Rome, slated, according to the Torah, for two thousand years of rulership in the world; these last 12 years have seen the fall of Rome – in the coin of Rome, the sword of Rome and the religion of Rome, all have fallen.
Two astronomical events occurring this year will change the course of the Earth: the transit of Venus across the sun in early June will not be repeated for over a hundred years; on December 21,2012 the Mayan calendar ends as Earth aligns with the center of the galaxy.
In Cabala, the planet Venus corresponds to the third eye – seat of knowing; by casting a shadow upon the earth, knowledge is being transferred to our world in the same way the Kupa/Marriage Canopy allows the blessing to come upon the heads of the blessed man and woman.
Shortly after the earth aligns with the center of the galaxy, the Earth will be hit by the radiation from a frozen cloud of hydrogen being eaten by the black hole in the center of our galaxy 26,000 light year ago – the Mayan calendar is divided into 26,000 year segments.
