Cruel and Unusual

Prison rape is cruel and unusual punishment. The Supreme Court has repeatedly found that sexual abuse is "not part of the penalty that criminal offenders pay for their offenses against society." It is a pity, a shameful embarrassment that took six years to figure this out. In 2003, Congress unanimously approved the Prison Rape Elimination Act, setting up a commission to study the problem and propose standards for eliminating it.

The Cabala explains in the previous world called Tohu/Chaos sexuality did not exist; in Jewish Law which is extremely strict commenting on all parts of life has no law against any sexual act among consenting adults. The overall commandment governing sexuality is found in the Seven Commandments of Noah to the world: make laws concerning sexuality.

Nakedness in Torah/Teaching is ascribed only to the genitals–that is naked. The Cabala explains that first man Adom covered himself with a leaf because that place more than any other place in the body requires cover and protection. Harming a person sexually is the deepest hurt and the revelation that more than half the rapes are committed by officials is reminiscent to the Church–power and authority is the greatest aphrodisiac.

The Torah teaches justice, not deterrent.
