The Unique Individual

England's National Health Service released the first study of autism in the general adult population. The findings confirm the intuitive assumption: that autism is just as common in adults as it is in children; roughly 1 in 100 adults are on that spectrum.

Interestingly, that is the same statistic as the number of people held in American jails. There is no bell curve in the Torah because each individual is considered completely unique as reflected by the fingerprints–a physical manifestation of a spiritual concept. Society is built around the bell curve letting those at the extremities fall off the edge.

It says in the Torah every person has their time and their place, the law proscribes the amount of area, Daled Amot/Four Arm Lengths the area required to bury the corpse, which is parameter around each living person everywhere we go.

The Cabala extends the uniqueness of the individual to the soul which belongs to a family of souls extended into infinity where the OreAinSof/LightWithEnd could obliterate all creation in a single stroke. In truth every element of creation is unique like each snowflake is unique because the Creator is required to create creation each moment or else all creation would go back to the primordial soup of the OreAinSof/LightWithEnd–for the nature of creation is not to be created.

Society’s expedience is at the rotten core of the beautiful apple from the Tree of Life.
