The Jewish People

Using sophisticated genomic analysis, scientists have probed the ancestry of several Jewish populations. This study shows that although the Jewish people experienced genetic mixing with surrounding populations, they retained a genetic coherence.

The Jewish People are a people–one of the two Semitic Peoples, Arab and Jewish. People who claim Jewish is a religion are unaware that there is no word in Hebrew for religion, the word Dat/Law is used instead. Being a people held together by DNA instead of some common theology is far more stable.

From the inception of the Jewish People 3500 years ago Gerim/Strangers were allowed to join with the Jewish People accounting for other genetic strains, but the Jewish DNA remains unchanged.

The Ger Ztadik/Righteous Stranger assumes the obligation of the 613 Commandments written in the Torah. The Ger Tashav/Dwelling Stranger are those who wish to live and learn from the Jewish People while remaining obligated only to the Seven Commandments of Noah. The Jewish People are required to bring both types of Jewish converts into the community and treat them properly for we were also strangers in a strange land.

Jewish Law corroborated by the Cabala traces Jewish through the soul–the first born of human souls passed on through the mother. The DNA is expressed in the body but the soul is expressed through the Torah.
