A BOY NAMED ALEPH

Natalie Portman and fiancé Benjamin Millepied get an A-plus for the name they picked for their baby boy; their son's name is Aleph, the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet.

The Aleph is considered, in the Cabala (Kabbalah) the Jewish mystical tradition, a general letter from which all of the other 21 letters are derived; the Aleph depicts a diagonal line running from left to right, dividing two dots – splitting one into two.

Besides being associated with the number one, the gematria of Aleph, how the word Aleph is spelled out as Aleph/1; Lamed/30; Pey/80 equals 111; including the one of the Aleph makes the often seen number 1111. These four ones are referred to in the Cabala as futuristic.

The Zohar-Book of Secret teaches, The universe is found within the lower dot in the original Aleph of creation; the two dots comprising the Aleph are the made by the letter Yud/10 and the line between is a Vav/6 – making the gematria 26, the same as the YHVH.

The Yud of the Yud-Hey-Vav-Hey (YHVH) in the future will be replace by the letter Aleph making the word Ehiya/Will Be – then the future will have arrived. Perhaps a little boy named Aleph is the beginning of that shift. Mazal Tov/Good Luck to the parents.
