Jurors have declined to talk to reporters after acquitting Casey Anthony of first-degree murder, aggravated child abuse and aggravated manslaughter, leaving many to wonder -  why did the jury say not guilty?

The Jewish People, prior to the destruction of the Temple 2000 years ago, were ruled by the Sanhedrin – a 70 man council able to enact capital punishment. However, these Rabbis were commanded by the Torah to seek loopholes in the law to spare a life.

When hearing of the death of a person it is customary to say Baruch Dian HaEmet/God is the True Judge; the Rabbis preferred to let God, who knows the truth and is able to requite the proper punishment at the correct time, be the final judge of the human being.
