With a surge of medals in track and field, the United States has sprinted ahead of China and is poised to finish atop the medals table at the London Olympics – maybe with the most golds ever collected by the Americans on foreign soil.
Analysis admit the American superiority at the Olympics is largely due to the increase in women’s athletics in America. The Cabala describes how the strength of men and women differ using the metaphor of a cup; the outer part of the cup is male while the inner part in female.
The outer part of the cup allows the hand to grasp what is held within; the outer strength exudes an impressive exterior but the inner part of the cup is more about the dexterity of smoothness. Because America is a pluralistic society, women are pushed to excel even beyond men.
The difference between men and women derives from the two essences from which life stems, pleasure and will; pleasure is denoted by the circle and will is denoted by the line – the circle holds within while the line extends out. This difference is shown in men making war.
Women go in and make babies, but in sports that inner sexual feminine energy is transformed into might; the natural modesty of woman is equally transformed into a star like Gabby Douglas, the lithe 16-year-old who stole everyone’s heart with her radiant smile and her gold.
