THE CABALA OF MAN
The philosophical purpose of science is to disprove the truth; similarly, there is a cabalistic concept maintaining, Essence can never be seen – what is seen is not the essence. Science continually strips away what appears to be, searching beneath the veneer of reality for essence.
The essence of the human being is derived from our meager beginning out of earth; science depicts an evolution arising out of the earth over millions of years, while Torah describes the human being created directly from the earth then molded into a crude form.
The fire of life that animates the body is also formed like a body; after infusing the earth form with breath and fire, this ethereal body then arose to beyond our solar system, a place called Gan Eden/Garden of Eden. The original crude human, left on the earth, had many faces.
After 130 years, the fire being returned to the earth and coupled with the earthly human to produce modern man. Time is relative; six thousand years ago carbon-14 broke down at a different rate, people lived to 1000 years while the infusion of spirit and matter coalesced.

THE CABALA OF EVOLUTION
One of the great contradictions between science and Torah are these ape-like creatures dating back millions of years. How can this be reconciled? One problem with science is the boxed-in environment in which theories exist and the assumption that nature is consistent.
The most pervasive part of the environment is time, which appears to be linear and constant; but, according to the Torah, time is a spiral similar to our galaxy spinning toward the center. In the beginning, time was a wide arc, in which life appeared to evolve over many years.
The Cabala explains, The 6000 years of creation correspond to the six Sefirot/Luminaries related to the six outer planets of our Solar System; each 1000 years is defined by a corresponding attribute – the first thousand years is the attribute of Chesed/Kindness and expansion.
Elohim, God’s Name with the gematria 86 the same as HaTevah/The Nature, governs the evolution of animals; but, the human being, ruled by the four letters of the YHVH, which can be rearranged to read, Hoya/Past, Hovea/Present and Yihiya/Future, is beyond time and evolution.

The Evolution of Man
The Cababla, in particular the Sefer Gilgulim/Book of Reincarnations makes the point that the male soul evolves in a different way from the female soul as depicted in geometric terms as a line indicating man and the woman the form of a circle. The Cabala teaches that woman was completed in the previous world called Tohu/Chaos and came into this world only to help man evolve as is seen in the Y chromosome.
It is further explained how man symbolizes the world of Tikun/Fixing made from the broken shards in the making of woman and fell into the earth carried by a stream of water the seeds of life. It is here on earth where the male soul through the seed of man, the Y chromosome, has 6000 years to get it straight–only 230 years left, better hurry.
The man, likened to a line, has a destination point–to become complete. The secular world sees time as a line without destination and the manmade system beneath which we labor is an endless, meaningless progress.
The Torah teaches that time is circle combined with a line that makes the spiral of creation from the DNA until the galaxy.
