THE CABALA OF COMPASSION

Jared Loughner sat looking relaxed and attentive in a packed courtroom as he pleaded guilty to the deadly Arizona shooting rampage in an agreement with prosecutors that will send him to prison for life.

The purpose of the law is to go beyond the law. The law is a demarcation line between good and bad; finding ways around the law is how freedom is achieved – breaking the law brings about punishment. The law described the death penalty but the people chose compassion.

Through compassion, severity is sweetened causing a melting of the celestial ice into water falling to the earth as rain. All ancient people understood, the evolution of humanity is through compassion. Doing kind acts brings compassion into a world defined by severity.

Kind has a nature to give but compassion recognizes the undeserving and gives them kindness after the law of severity. Rechem/Compassion is the same word and Rechem/Womb – an admonition to the human being, to show compassion for everything that comes from the womb.

The Cabala adds meaning to compassion by connecting to the Tree of Life where Tiferit/Beauty, also known to be the place of Emet/Truth, is the spiritual source of compassion. The truth is out, the guilty verdict is in and in the end the people had compassion, sweetening severity.

THE CABALA OF FIRE

A towering wildfire jumped firefighters' perimeter lines and moved into the city of Colorado Springs, forcing frantic evacuation orders for more than 32,000 residents and destroying an unknown number of homes; the fire doubled in size overnight to more than 24 square miles.

While Colorado burns, Florida floods; when the two components of heaven, fire and water, separate they cause chaos – Shamiyam/Heaven is a combination of Ash/Fire and Maiyin/Water. What distinguishes these two primal elements: water holds together while fire tears apart.

There are 32 paths of wisdom, as taught in the Cabala; and, the gematria of Lev/Heart and Coved/Liver are both 32 – the head, heart and liver correspond to the three sections of the body derived from the Tree of Life built on three triangles. The power of speech is dumbfounded.

There are 24 books in the Torah, also divided into three sections: the Five Books of Moshe, the Prophets and the Written Text – speech is the Oral Torah. Fire and Water the represent Chesed/Kindness and Gevorah/Severity – both possess the power to perpetuate and destroy.

The body thinks in the head, feels in the heart and acts from liver, producing speech. Thinking of so many families and communities uprooted from their homes left, in ruin: the heart is compelled, awakening the liver into action – in the end, America is a community of people.

THE CABALA OF SOLAR FLARES

The Solar Dynamics Observatory reported a solar flare erupting from the sun on January 22, 2012; the solar energetic particles which erupted from the sun are traveling at a speed of 1,400 miles per second and  will hit Earth today.

According to the Zohar-Book of Secret, the earth is comprised of seven continents and three oceans; the Earth is a replica of the solar system in which we exist, made from the sun and the nine planets. The Sun corresponds with the first of the Ten Sefirot, Chochma.

Chochma/Power of What, corresponds to the right side of the brain where the soul, animating the body with life, enters. The Solar System is a replica of the the Ten Sefirot/Luminaries. Chochma, the seminal beginning of humility, is seen in the power of the mind to question.

This burst of energy from the Sun is arriving on the first day of the Chinese New Year, the Year of the Dragon; according to Chinese astrology, the cycle of 12 years begins anew this year when the earth lines up with the center of the galaxy on December 21, 2012.

In the beginning of 2013 the earth will be hit from the effects of a hydrogen cloud at the center of the galaxy 26,000 light-years-ago, colliding; the center of the galaxy is considered the eye of the dragon, in Cabala. Light, fire and illumination are coming to the Earth.

White as Snow

The heaviest snow storms for decades have struck the eastern US, paralyzing air and road transport, and bringing Washington DC to a standstill.

In the Midrash-Book of Metaphor says that the angel Michiel, angel of kindness and angel Gavreil, angel of severity, come together and make peace with one another through white hair–the sign of elder. The Cabala explains how snow originated beneath the Kesay HaKavod/Seat of Honor which hovers upon creation.

The idea of a seat indicates how the Creator is humbled to be lowered into creation. Beneath the Kesay HaKavod/Seat of Honor is snow which when melted through the power of prayer becomes water–the Torah is compared to water that comes from a very high place to a very low place without changing.

Physical snow is a sign of Chesed/Kindness from the source. That such a large amount of snow should fall on the nation’s capitol perhaps is a sign from heaven as is the turning of the President’s hair to white is a sign Gevorah/Severity being sweetened.

This unusual amount of snow on the nation’s capitol closing down institutions and keeping everyone in their place is reminder of God’s kindness for our country–a country like no other, peopled from every part of the globe.
