THE CABALA OF SITTING

A recent report has estimated that about one-third of adults worldwide are not doing enough physical activity – causing just as many deaths as smoking.

The Cabala describes life as, that which moves – death does not move. The human being is described as a Mahalach/Walker, whereas in heaven one is Omdin/Stander – meaning, their place can not be changed. The purpose of life on Earth is to make a permanent place in Heaven.

The Midrash-Book of Metaphor considers Earth as the antechamber preceding a larger room; reincarnation provides a way for the soul to change their place in Heaven by coming to the Earth for a new life. The movers not only live longer but they also live better.

Comfort in this world translates to discomfort in the next world; relaxation now is boredom in the future. There is no free choice in the next world and therefore there is no way to change our situation once we die. Whether one sits and smokes, or just sits, the outcome is the same.

When Moshiach comes the light on Earth will increase and the possibilities of choice will decrease; people will long for the good old days when choice could radically change one’s position in this world and the next – but, the good old days will be gone. Sitting now, suffer later.

THE CABALA OF CHILD PORN

A wealthy Texas woman married to an attorney has been charged with collecting and trading child pornography online in what experts say is a rare case of a woman being caught up in such activity.

According to the Cabala, The human brain, divided into two hemispheres, corresponds to male and female, called: mother and father never separated; The male, right side of the brain corresponds to eyes, the left side of the brain to the ears – the nose represents the third eye.

Though, no one is purely male or female, the design of man connects the eyes to his ability to make sperm – the reason why men like to look at woman and why women continually preen themselves for men. The eyes love flesh, but the brain needs to discern between right and wrong.

Because of a mother’s instinct towards children, it is rare to find women enjoying this perversion and even more so its distribution. The Sefer Gigulim/Book of Reincarnations says, Sometimes, weak men return as women to rectify previous lives where they mistreated women or children.

There is no escaping life nor the punishments we have brought upon ourselves. The Talmud-Book of Law says, Better a lifetime of suffering in this world than one moment of embarrassment in the next world. Law is meant to crush the sin beneath the spotlight of public scrutiny.

Suicide’s Reward

Nicholas Hughes, the son of poet Sylvia Plath, has killed himself, 46 years after his mother committed suicide and almost 40 years to the day after his stepmother, Assia Wevill, did the same. He was 47.

Suicide is the spilling of one’s own blood thereby cutting short the time given by the Creator to conduct life on earth. Life on earth is different from life in heaven where the consciousness reunites with the soul; on the earth, and only on the earth, there is freedom of choice—in the heavens too much light exists and therefore no choice.

Although suicide is prohibited in the Torah/Teaching, still there are instances where suicide is considered the proper response—for example, if one is confronted with idol worship death, it is preferable to die. But, there is a price to suicide beyond death and that is the imprint on life which is left between parent and child and even from those not directly related as seen form this sad poetic story of those too sensitive for life.

In the Cabala, in particular the Sefer Gilgilim/Book of Reincarnations, much is written about the journeys of the soul—most importantly, the impossibility of escaping this physical world or our spiritual obligation.
