THE CABALA OF SOLSTICE

At 7:09 p.m. (EDT) today, the sun shined directly overhead at the Tropic of Cancer while the North Pole reached its maximum tilt towards the sun. For the Northern Hemisphere, this marks the official start of summer and the longest day of the year.

In the beginning of human history people lived for 1000 years until God became perturbed with all the bad a person could do over such a long time and vowed to shorten the life of man to 120 years – this process happened gradually over ten generations due to a new paradigm.

Until this time, the Earth’s axis was straight – meaning, there was no fluctuations in the seasons; only after the Earth was tilted 23 degrees did the seasons begin to vary. There are 23 chromosomes in the gene and the necessary adaptation of the human being caused life to lessened.

Why people at the center of the equator, called the navel of the Earth, also have a shortened lifespan is a question; perhaps the constant shift from north to south, each experiencing the longest day at opposite times of the years, effects the middle of the globe?

The Cabala relates the sun to the attribute of Chochma/Power of What that resides in the right side of the brain where the soul enters to enliven the body. On this longest day of the year, beginning the month of Tamuz in the Hebrew calendar, portends a new light for the world.

Time of Secret

For the first time, microscopic robots made from DNA molecules can walk, follow instructions and work together to assemble simple products on an atomic-scale assembly line, mimicking the machinery of living cells.

Technology arose because of the innate weakness of the human being unable to deal with his environment; the first man was a fire-being whose light was so great, according to the Midrash-Book of Metaphor, the heel of Adom/Adam shone with such illumination that it made the sun embarrassed.

In Hebrew the word Ore/Light sounds identical to Ore/Flesh; after eating from the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge Good and Bad the Adom’s light turned into skin–since then man has been fashioning ways to deal with being physical. Since the Adom came from the Garden of Eden he carried with him many secrets.

For the first three thousand years of history the human being implored spirit to provide their needs through the means of idol worship or prayer before God–both worked but one was stealing and the other asking. In our times technology and religion have replaced idols and prayers.

We are presently 770 years into the final millennium of the Hebrew calendar called Yesod/Foundation made from the word Sod/Secret; during this time all the secrets become known–physical and spiritual in preparation for the coming new light.

Prayer Bomb

US Air flight from New York to Kentucky was diverted to Philadelphia when a passenger after takeoff removed his Tefillin a religious item used by observant Jewish men.

The Jewish people comprise only one half of a percent of the world population so it is understandable Jewish customs are unfamiliar to the general populous, but the truth is Tefillin is a bomb–a bomb of spiritual light. The Tefillin are made out of leather painted black–a small box of leather with scrolls within is placed on the head and one on the upper arm during morning prayer to effectuate one’s mind and heart.

The Cabala explains how it is that the Will of God as proscribed in the Torah is manifested in this world through physical commandments; will is the outer expression of essence, but pleasure is the inner reality. When a person fulfills a commandment God is happy.

The Pleasure of God’s happiness filters through creation changing the darkness into light. In our physical world bombs turn the light into darkness, but God’s bombs are bombs of light that transmute the darkness into light.

Within the next two hundred years the world will be transformed from darkness into light then the form of things will become more important than their substance.

An Articulate Leader

The United Nations Security Council, with President Obama acting as chairman, unanimously passed a resolution on Thursday morning aimed at increasing deterrents for withdrawing from the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty. “We must demonstrate that international law is not an empty promise, and that treaties will be enforced,” he said.

The Cabala teaches that during the ten days between Rosh HaShana and Yom Kipur are built the ten levels of Malchut/Royalty; it is during this time God is referred to as Melech/King–the final judge. These ten days correspond to the Ten Sefirot, the cabalistic atom from which all things are comprised also known as the Tree of Life.

The human body is the ultimate expression of the Four Letter Name of God YHVH which is the source to the Ten Sefirot formed in three triangles melding male and female energies through intersecting lines, but the tenth is a circle, the mouth–she is woman. The attribute of woman is speech; speech is what differentiates between the human and the animal.

The last American administration brought brutal force to world politics and pushed the world to the brink; the new administration has shown the wisdom of patience, dialogue and conciliation to the world table in an articulate manner from the lips of America’s president.

During this time is read in the Torah how all the people are gathered together from ten levels from the head until those who collect the wood and bring the water–stating we are all equal before God.

The Magic Three

President Zardari of Pakistan and President Hamid Karzai of Afghanistan will meet today in a three-way talks with President Obama.

It is known in the Cabala and in physics that one is a point, two a line, but three is the first time that unity is arrived at as expressed in the triangle. In Jewish Law to do something three times is likened to a vow because of the power of three.

The Ten Sefirot, the cabalistic atom is arranged in three triangles representative of the first three generations of the Jewish People and the twelve Elexzons/Diagonals represented in the twelve tribes. In the genealogy of the Torah it is notable that both Ishmael father of the Arab People and Esau father of Roman Peoples also produced twelve tribes.

The innate wisdom of our president to meet in three underscores the spiritual help that accompanies these talk to bring about world peace.

Obama Goes South

At the fifth Summit of the Americas, Latin American leaders are expected to press President Obama on the global economy and U.S. policies on Cuba and on drugs.

In the Cabala is noted the fact that most of the world’s population exists in the north and that two-thirds of the world is made of water—these sages did not know this from science, but from an intricate understanding of creation. They explain how this world is the second in a series of seven worlds and being second means Gevorah/Severity which is located in the north.

There are seven worlds, likened to the seven continents, which relate to the seven emotions, the lower segment of the Ten Sefirot; it is wildly accepted within the Torah that the emotions ultimately are more important than mind.

Surrounding the Shema Yisroel proclaiming God’s omnipresence in creation, before and after, is the word Ahavta/Love You. Be sure, the president will not be judged by his intellect as he travels south, but by his emotions.

Pluto’s Atmosphere

The ESO's Very Large Telescope exploring the ninth planet Pluto has found an unexpectedly large amount of methane in the atmosphere and much higher temperature than earlier proposed. The downgrading of Pluto and her three moons on the inner part of the Kuiper Belt from being a planet resulting from the discovery of a “tenth planet” Eris with an accompanying moon on the other side of the Kuiper Belt has been erroneously understood.

The Zohar Chodesh—Book of Secret describes the six outer planets from the earth is some detail even though Pluto was only discovered 100 years ago and the Cabala later explains how these seven worlds are representative of the seven lower attributes of the Ten Seferiot/Luminaries. The last is called Malkut/Royalty related to the ability to speak. Speech has five elements: lips, teeth, tongue, pallet and throat; Eris her moon and the three moons of Pluto represent these elements of speech.

Further proof can be gleamed from the fact that the earth and her 365 day orbit around the sun together with Pluto’s 248 year orbit around the sun equal 613, the number of commandments in the Torah divided between 248 positive commandments and 365 negative commandments.

ShangChai

NPR Morning Edition, February 11, 2009 • Part of Shanghai's Jewish history is under threat from bulldozers. In the 1930s, Shanghai was the only place in the world to offer visa-free sanctuary to Jews fleeing Nazism — 20,000 ended up in Shanghai.

The Jewish People in Shanghai called the place ShangChai referring to the Chai which means Life as is LaChaim/To Life. Chaim is plural, but Chai is singular and has the number value of 18. When Jewish People give charity it is often in multiples of Chai/18

Life is full of strange incidences, particularly when you are people without a land for 2000 years wondering every place in the earth, making a little impression before moving on. The Cabalists explain since man was ejected from the Garden of Eden in the sixth hour he was destined to wonder the earth for 6000 years picking up the sparks that fell from his actions. The Jewish people are the inheritors of that destiny—ejected from our land by God because our spiritual flame was not strong enough to attract the world, instead sent out to collect the sparks one by one, leaving a little Chai/Life wherever we went.
