Hubble’s New Eyes

According to NASA Hubble Space Telescope is back in business, ready to uncover new worlds, peer ever deeper into space, and even map the invisible backbone of the universe.

Ironic that this is happening a week before Rosh HaShana the Jewish New Year which begins a new decade denoted by the letter Aiyin/70 which means Eyes. The Torah explains that sight is not only receiving and processing the light, but also a light comes out from within the eye to merge with the incoming illumination.

This process of sight is a replication from the first light of creation called Adom Kadmin/First Form which was light produced by two movements called Noti V’Lo Nuti/Incline and Not Incline; this primordial inclination of going out and going in produced two types of light called Ore Yasher/Straight Light and Ore Chazer/Returning light the source of the the light which fills the worlds known as Mamale/Filling and Sovev/Surrounding whose physical manifestation is AC/Alternating Current.

The straight light is what is seen and the returning light is how we see the light, how we understand what we see. The number seventy also has relevance to sight made of these two lights because seven is the culmination of six–the six days of the week find conclusion in the seventh, the Shabbot.
