The Cabala has detailed information about these two hemispheres of the brain called Mother and Father Never Separated; it is the male aspect of seeing which is incorporated into the right hemisphere where thoughts are comprehended at one time like a vast panorama before the mind’s eye. The contrary is true about the left hemisphere of the brain which like hearing excels in incremental thinking.
The reason why the two hemispheres of the brain are called Father and Mother is because they conceive and give birth to emotions. The two hemispheres of the brain correspond to the first two letters of the Name YHVH–the Yud/10 is the male letter and Hey/5 is the female letter. The Vav/6 correlates to the six emotions portrayed in the two triangles of the body: torso and two arms, two legs and the sex.
The final Hey/5 in the Name YHVH represents the power of speech. The letter Hey is composed of three lines representing thought, speech and action. Thought and emotions are connected but the line corresponding to action is separate from the other two lines–easy to think and feel, but hard to do.
