A Visual Language

Google's video-sharing Website YouTube turned 5 years old this month and is now supporting 2 billion views per day, the YouTube team said May 16.

One of the predictions about the future when Moshiach is expected talks about a visual language and how the entire world will communicate instantaneously; technology is the lowest level of human communication–a manufactured means by which to pass thoughts and intentions. A sign of a higher people is their lack of technology.

Technology arose because the original human beings’ spiritual abilities that could manifest whatever they required began to erode because of misdeeds. It is explained in the Cabala how some misdeeds draw blood from the ethereal body while others numb a limb or a nerve; the way to repair the ethereal body is through repentance–returning to the Creator by admitting the wrong.

God always forgives; God just wants to be acknowledged within creation. Technology gives the impression that destiny is in the hands of the human being but nothing is less true–man plans and God laughs. There is nothing higher than seeing God, but first we must be able to see ourselves.

The divide between Creator and creation as explained throughout the Torah is to effectuate change in creation; technology is the lowest denominator of that change allowing everyone to communicate–a harbinger of things to come.
