THE CABALA OF COMMUNICATION

A Ben-Gurion University team discovered that plants can transmit distress signals to each other through their roots; possibly enhancing the other plants' ability to deal with stress in the future, according to a recently published study.

The Cabala explains, There are four spiritual worlds formed from the Four Letter Name YHVH supporting four types of existence made from the four elements of fire, air, water and earth producing: inanimate life, growing life, animal life and the human being highest of all.

The Earth represents the lowest level to which all life returns after death; plants, through their roots, have their head in the ground; animals live on top of the ground but their head is facing the ground – only the human being lives erect with his head in the heavens.

Yet, if the human being is higher, why does the human being require sustenance from below? The Rambam, who 800-years-ago compiled the laws pertaining to the 613 Commandments, explains: the cognition of celestial bodies is more than the human being but less than the angles.

The humility of the earth is a sign of being closer to God; this attachment to God draws the plant and the animal, but the human being looks to the heavens. In the future is predicted, The Earth will speak and say, Do not walk upon me unless you go to do the will of the Creator.
