In response to US ire and a pledge to assist a Pakistani doctor charged with treason for helping the US capture Osama bin Laden, the Pakistani foreign ministry called on the US to respect its legal process.
According to the Torah, that divides the obligation of the world to the Creator into 613 Commandments to the Jewish People and the Seven Commandments of the Children of Noah, Pakistan is correct, because having courts of law is one of the Seven Commandments given to the nations.
America transgressed the sovereign law of a state to kill one very bad man and in doing so sacrificed another man now sentenced to 33 years in prison, for the sake of expediency. Though no one can lament this bad man’s deserved death, one travesty has led to another.
The Talmud-Book of Law says, Sin draws more sin. The Zohar-Book of Secret speaks about BaLaden who is a dog, not even human – now that he is dead there is no chance to capture and interrogate this monster. On wonders, if there were not other considerations and hidden agendas at play?
The Cabala teaches, in the end God will slay the Yetzer HoRa/Bad Inclination until then we are subject to his whim for the purpose of bringing about free choice. When we transgress one of God’s Commandments, unexpected, detrimental happenings occur. Whether, Torah or Islam, God is always right.
