The World Wildlife Foundation International said, We are using 50 percent more resources than the Earth can provide, and unless we change course that number will grow very fast; by 2030, even two planets will not be enough to satiate the world’s appetite.
The Cabala teaches, You can not fill a spiritual desire with physicality; meaning, what animates the human being is our relationship with the Creator – what we do enhances that relation or detracts. Those not aware of this dynamic try to fill spiritual longing with things.
The spiritual awakening coming to the world will invoke charity instead of greed, compassion over severity. The world is comparable to an embryo within the womb of woman – the head bowed and inactive while life is generated from the umbilical cord attached to the stomach.
When spiritual awakening happens, the birth of the child, the stomach closes and the eyes and mouth open – awareness occurs. This jump in awareness is prophesied to affect our attitude towards the earth – we will hear the tree speak saying, First thank the Creator before partaking.
There is plenty of room and plenty of resources – there are just too many rich people with wasteful attitudes that trickle down to the populous. Ten generations remain before the end of the Hebrew calendar when the 1000 years of rest begin – enough time to make amends.
