The Hexagon and the Star

IBM scientists have been able to image the “anatomy” inside a molecule with unprecedented resolution. In the experimental image, the hexagonal shapes of the five carbon rings as well as the carbon atoms in the molecule are clearly resolved. Snowflakes are formed as super-cooled water condenses around particulate matter in the atmosphere. Super-cooled water is nearly 100% hexagonally structured.

The hexagon, a six sided structure is the basis for the Mogan/Shield of Dovid-the six sided star. Dovid, King of Israel and author of the Psalms 3000 years ago is represented by the star made of two triangles which is the representation of the last of the Ten Sefirot-the cabalistic atom. The Ten Sefirot correspond to the shape of the human body made in three triangles (head, torso and arms, hips and legs) plus the tenth, the power of speech-the mouth.

The six sides of the structure correspond to the two lower triangles known as Medot/Emotions represented by the two arm, two legs, torso and sex; the hole in the center, likened to a mouth, is the tenth where speech emanates.

The hexagon of water is distorted when foreign particles are introduced. The Cabala compares Torah to water saying like water which comes from a very high place in the heavens is the same also in the earth; when foreign ideas or apologies are introduced into the Torah the basic form and truth are distorted and lost.
