The Trial

A lawyer for John Demjanjuk, accused of helping to murder 27,900 Jews at a Nazi death camp, has accused German prosecutors of double standards.

It is stated in the Midrash-Book of Metaphor the world requires the Jewish People like the earth needs the wind to survive. So why those transfixed with killing the Jewish People?

God loves creation as put forth by the Zohar-Book of Secret God asked creation at the very beginning: why are you indeterminate? Creation answered saying, We have nothing to base upon–so God gave the promise of Avraham. Bahaboram/In the Creation can read Avraham if the letters are rearranged.

Though it is important to look back into the past as not to repeat such acts, God forbid, in the future it is more important to look at the present. A trial is like a test, testing the system of authority through the means of justice while testing God with our memories.

Since God loves creation and Avraham loves creation then why all the hatred? The Torah was given to the Jewish People on Mount Sinai/Hatred to bring peace to the world and eradicate hatred. The trial is not for the dead, but for those of us who are left as a reminder to make right the nature of man from that essential place.

The Sailor Returns to the Sea

After a 45 year hiatus Dovid returns to the Pacific Ocean on a one day sailing trip in the San Francisco Bay.

In the Talmud-Book of Law is asked the question, Who is a Chasid? The answer is obtuse, first stating that those who drive donkeys can not be a Chasid because they drink and fight, then suggesting that perhaps a camel driver is a Chasid because he is out in the desert for a long time without water, concluding with, a sailor is a Chasid.

Chasid comes from the word Chesed/Kindness; the Cabala teaches that the virtue of Chesed comes upon a person in old age when the hair turns white and the back is bent in humility. In the beginning we are filled with Din/Strictness accounting for a lot of arrogance, but as life meanders down the stream to the ocean the strictness are replace with kindness.

The Pacific ocean is the largest ocean in the world; being on that body of water shows our smallness as do the giant redwoods along the coast. It is in our smallness and humility that we are powerful like the point of a lightning rod able to conduct massive amounts of electricity into ground.

The smaller the vessel the greater is the light.

Work for Peace

"Most of the Taliban in my area are young men who need jobs. We just need to make them busy. If we give them work, we can weaken the Taliban." Hajji Fazul Rahim an Afghan tribal leader.

In most ancient languages the word for work is synonymous with one’s spiritual purpose; in Hebrew the word Avodah/Work is derived from the word Aved/Slave–one must be a slave to their higher calling. The Rambam compiler of Jewish law a millennium ago advised the person to find a job they like and are good at, do it for a long time to become wise.

Most peoples of the earth prefer to have a simple job so they can be devoted to their families–a thing no amount of money can buy. Service to God is also one of Avoda/Work; the commandment to learn the Torah is about effort not about understanding. The scope of our brains is very limited, but the passion of our effort reaches from our inner essence.

It is known in the Cabala that our effort extends to the OreAinSof/LightWithoutEnd to bring in new light in the form of new souls to help guide the world. Every part of creation has the intrinsic desire to return to the light through selfless service.

As Bob says, Ya gota Serve Someone.

The Dubai Problem

The news that the sovereign wealth fund of Dubai requested a postponement of billions of dollars of debt this week could pose a big problem for U.S. banks.

The tiny country of Dubai holds the sixth largest oil reserves and with friendly relation with the West were well on their way to becoming an international center of money and power until gluttony overcame reason. Dubai is at the top of the Tower of Babel.

The Midrash-Book of Metaphor says the top of the tower burned and those inside died because they were the ones making war on God–wanting to make a tower so high that could be seen from around the world–Dubai sports the highest building in the world, the Burj/Tower.

The Tower can no longer meet their obligations and all those who depend on the Tower are suddenly experiencing the strange sensation of insecurity, pity. The world is beginning to reassess the meaning and worth of money; rich people who have exploited the world for their own avarice are no longer held in esteem.

The Torah extolls the human being beyond all other creatures or elements because of our freedom to chose and our ability to articulated thoughts into speech.

All of the resources and animals of the world rely upon our good judgment.

The Hajj and Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving, Hajj and Eid al-Adha fall within the same week this year. Hesham Hassaballa tells the story of Abraham, which inspired the rituals of the Hajj.

Avraham who came from the Tower of Babel was a master of language as the Cabala says Avraham knew the 22 movements of the mouth; from Avraham came Arabic, Hebrew and even Sanskrit–from the force of these languages three great peoples arose–Arab, Jewish and the Brahmins of India called so because they came from Avraham.

In the West the Avrahamic tradition has been reinterpreted as monotheism, but that was never Avraham’s message; everyone knew of the God of gods, but Avraham came to teach the message of how God is ever present all the time to everyone. That message resonates with the holiday of Thanksgiving.

In Hebrew the word for thanksgiving and turkey are the same–Hodu which also means India. In the Temple in Jerusalem the thanksgiving offering was made through the sacrifice of an animal, also during the Hajj a animal is sacrificed and on Thanksgiving an animal is sacrificed.

The Talmud-Book of Law says ignorant people should not eat meat because it will make them cruel and arrogant; an elevated person eats thankful to God and humbled at having to take life for the sake of life.

Fire and Water

Incredibly powerful waves of plasma rippling across the surface of the sun and dubbed "solar tsunamis" like a gargantuan pattern of waves created by a pebble dropped in a pond have been confirmed by scientists.

The Cabala teaches there are two basic perceptions in creation: something from nothing and nothing from something. God sees creation of nothing that came out of something–God, while creation is stymied how something, creation could come out of nothing. The intermediate between God and creation is light called OreAinSof/LightWithoutEnd hard light lacking space.

The making of space within the hard light is to the Creator like dividing water is to creation–both a power beyond nature. To God the hard light is water whereas to creation it is a light beyond any experience physical light which illuminates through separate photons. This duplicity of light is manifested in our physical solar system as a seething sea of light–the sun.

All wisdom and knowledge is embedded within the system and formation of creation and it is why the Torah spends so much time on the subject throughout the four levels of the 24 books of the Written Text, and the three levels of Oral Tradition the Talmud-Book of Law, Midrash–Book of Metaphor and Zohar-Book of Secret as illuminated by the Cabala.

Scientific inquiry is like the written word and all the ancient texts in the world comprise the oral tradition.

The Big Bang

Outside Geneva the Large Hadron Collider built over 15 years at a cost of $9 billion to accelerate protons to energies of seven trillion electron volts apiece and then slam them together in an attempt to recreate forces and particles that reigned during the first moments of the Big Bang experience had their first collision on Monday.

Theoretical physics is just that, theoretical and though their theories are universally accepted nonetheless there is no proof. Certainly much new science will be born from these experiments.

The Zohar–Book of Secret explicitly describes a big evacuation of the hard light that existed prior to creation to make space and time exist. The Cabala explains how creation is formed through the Ten Sefirot/Luminaries also known as the Tree of Life. These ten are liked together through three triangles with one left over; similarly, the atom is made of three components arranged in a similar configuration to the Tree of Life plus the ability to link to other atoms forming molecules.

The Tree of Life is also reflected in the 6000 year old Hebrew calendar where we are presently 770 years into the last 1000 year period corresponding to Yesod/Foundation based on the word Sod/Secret.

It is now when the secrets of creation are being known to the entire world as the Midrash-Book of Metaphor states, God wanted a dwelling place in low so God made heaven and earth where every aspect of creation is a revelation of the Creator.

Rich Get Richer

The US has the highest inequality of wealth in the industrialized world hitting the middle class and poor; the gap between the top one percent and the remaining 99% of the US population has grown to a record high.

The name United States portends unity, but a name is only an exterior facade; the truth is an uncomfortable reality–a growing disparity between rich and poor. No question, there are just too many rich people.

The Torah demands that stewards of riches be respected because God made them rich; with richness comes responsibility–not to let society run amok.

All ancient texts extoll charity and caring for the weak; by placing this obligation to help the poor on religion who lives by the tax break and donations from the rich have been bribed into silence–a de facto way of the rich ignoring their obligation.

The reason for this divide between rich and poor is the separation between church and state which allocates morality to religion freeing capitalism to pursue greed. Though charity is mentioned often all ancient texts, religion is never mentioned–there is no word in the Torah, Koran, and in the Hindu Vedas for the word religion.

Religion came from Rome just like our political system, economic system, military/technological apparatus and philosophies of life. The end of Rome was nine years ago, it is time to move on.

Kennedy Revisted

Abraham Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846. John F. Kennedy was elected Congress in 1946. Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860. John F. Kennedy was elected President in 1960. Both were particularly concerned with civil rights. Both wives lost their children while living in the White House. Both Presidents were shot on a Friday. Both Presidents were shot in the head. Lincoln 's secretary was named Kennedy. Kennedy's Secretary was named Lincoln. Both were assassinated by Southerners. Both were succeeded by Southerners named Johnson. Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln, was born in 1808. Lyndon Johnson, who succeeded Kennedy, was born in 1908. John Wilkes Booth, who assassinated Lincoln, was born in 1839. Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated Kennedy, was born in 1939. Both assassins were known by their three names. Both names are composed of fifteen letters. Lincoln was shot at the theater named 'Ford'. Kennedy was shot in a car called ' Lincoln ' made by 'Ford'. Lincoln was shot in a theater and his assassin ran and hid in a warehouse. Kennedy was shot from a warehouse and his assassin ran and hid in a theater. Booth and Oswald were assassinated before their trials. A week before Lincoln was shot, he was in Monroe, Maryland. A week before Kennedy was shot, he was with Marilyn Monroe.

An Ancient Agreement

Israeli planes carried out air strikes against targets in the Gaza Strip on Sunday, injuring seven Palestinians. An army spokesman said the strikes, which occurred after a rocket fired from a Hamas run enclave landed in Israel.

Recorded in the Torah which was read today throughout the world is an ancient agreement between the Palestinians and the Israelis when the king Avimelch and Phinchal head of the Army come to Yitzchok grandfather of the 12 tribes of Israel.

Uitzchot greets them saying, “Why do you come when you hate me and sent me away?” They respond saying “We see that God is with you; lets make a compact between you and your children together with us. We will not do bad to you; we will not send you away; we will do to you only good.

If you want to claim to be an ancient people then you have to accept the ancient compact–both Jewish and Palestinian. The Jewish People made a compact with God to do the 613 Commandments most of which can only be done in the borders of Israel as delineated by the Torah and the Palestinians seeing that God is with the Jewish People promised to be peaceful.

Only an ancient solution can fix an ancient problem. The Cabala refers to the highest of spiritual levels as Atik Yomim/Ancient Days.

Oprah Winfrey

A tearful Oprah Winfrey has announced that her talk show which began September 8, 1986 will end in September 9, 2011 after 25 years and one day.

The law in the Torah states a boy at thirteen years and one day or a girl at twelve years and one day transforms from child to adult; the Cabala explains how two stages precede adult: nine month in the womb and 12 or 13 years as child; in the womb there is neither emotions or intellect, in the child there are emotions but no intellect and as a result of coming of age the child transforms into an adult through the virtue of intellect.

Ophrah Winfrey has helped the world make that transition between child and adult–she has taught the world to read and to love the intellect. Ophar in Hebrew means dust which is a metaphor for humility as Avraham is quoted as saying to God, I am but dust and ashes.

There is an essential and symbiotic relationship between intellect and humility which is often interrupted by the egocentric view of the person. Since the soul comes in through the name it can be inferred that her humility is the basis of her intellect.

Twenty five and one day is really 26 because when you have a part you have the whole, and 26 is the number of God’s Name YHVH.

Women at War

A 21-year-old Army specialist has been arrested after refusing to deploy to Afghanistan with her unit earlier this month because she stayed home with her 10-month-old son.

The modern day Israel army does not allow women into combat because of a very pragmatic reason–seeing a woman hurt dispirits the men; men are much more able to deal with the injuries and deaths of their comrades of the as the same gender.

The differences between men and women far outreach the obvious physical attributes. Logically one might think that women should be larger than men because the have to bare children, but of course the opposite is true; women are mothers from birth carrying eggs that could later become children; men on the other hand make sperm at the moment of sexual encounter–also the sperm which are produced in endless multitude is the smallest cell of the body while the egg from woman is the largest cell of the body.

Women have inherent connections with life that need to be respected by the genderless government. Men fight better for women than with women.

The Cabala, the deepest and most determined of different disciplines in the Torah is also the most feminine and modest; for that reason Cabala has been hidden all these years waiting for the right time to come out.

Dovid Breaks Nose

In a perfect three point landing on hard cement walking at a fast pace at midnight last night cause by a disparity in the pavement landed on his forehead breaking his nose and blackening his eyes.

The nose and the eyes are connected in Cabala by means of sight and knowing; the right side of the brain sees while the left side of the brain hears, but when the third eye known as Dat/Knowing perceives through Bena/Understanding the left side of the brain what the right side of the brain saw then knowing is complete.

Knowing accomplishes the point of thinking and therefore when knowing is complete there is no longer need to think and emotions ensue. The nose is the part of the body which represents knowing; you can see the truth, you can hear the truth, but when you smell the truth then you know it is true–it might be good shit or bad shit, but when you smell it you know its shit.

Perhaps, breaking one’s nose falling on one’s forehead the place of the third eye is a sign of a spiritual breakthrough or maybe it is a sign not to go further? Or maybe the only meaning is to be more careful when walking?

When the mind clicks off as a result of knowing, the heart becomes enabled.

The Age of Life

Penguins that died 44,000 years ago in Antarctica have provided extraordinary frozen DNA samples that challenge the accuracy of traditional genetic aging measurements, and suggest those approaches have been routinely underestimating the age of many specimens by 200 to 600 percent.

The more that science uncovers the more absurd their theories seem–just shots in the dark. The dating system requires a constancy of the environment that is unnatural to substantiate theories concocted in the laboratory.

The Torah describes life as a continuum of circles comprising a spiral of delineated transformations leading to a particular point in time. Each cycle has a unique nature that governs the elements of reality; the first day of creation dedicated to light inspired a 1000 years of unbridled growth as the essence of kindness was explicit everywhere.

We are presently 770 years into the sixth and final cycle of thousand year periods leading to culmination when the six becomes a seven–what then?

Six in Hebrew is represent by the letter Vav a straight vertical line, it is said to be the letter of truth and the six is also the attribute of beauty and secret–all these essential qualities are present in our reality. Science is good at uncovering evidence, but their conclusions are suspect.

Ancient peoples and ancient texts were closer to the original light and should be held in high esteem.

Water on the Moon

The satellite, known as Lcross crashed into a crater near the moon’s south pole last month and carved out a hole 60 to 100 feet wide and kicked up at least 26 gallons of water, Nasa said on Friday.

The Torah begins with a description of the Breath of God which hovered upon the waters during the First Day of Creation for the light to reflect upon; on the second day the water split then commanded by the Creator to seek depth changed the order of nature.

It is the nature of the elements to stack one upon the other according to weight and density; when water instead of covering earth penetrated into earth the nature of water was also changed–therefore water freezes on the surface instead of in the center like all the other elements.

Science has discovered water at the furthest reaches of our universe and so it is no surprise to find water embedded in the moon; eventually they will discover oceans of water beneath Mars our sister planet which has according to the Zohar-Book of Secret a core of ice surrounded by water encased by iron–thus the red planet. Earth is the opposite having a core of iron, an interior of earth surrounded by water.

The Torah/Teaching is said be an ocean of water upon which the Light of the Creator constantly shines and 26 is the gematria of YHVH, the Four Letter Name of God.

9-11 Trial on Trial

Attorney General Eric Holder announced the civil prosecutions of the alleged co-conspirators for the 9-11 attack on New York City; Holder's announcement comes eight years to the day after Bush issued the foundational order for military commissions and unlimited detention without charge.

Both number nine and eleven are numbers connected to the concept of chaos; also, there were 19 terrorists who carried out the attack and like the number nine is incomplete therefore also a number of chaos–even the 20th terrorist later convicted completed the chaotic scenario because twenty is Keter/Crown also known as chaos because it is made from pleasure and will.

Bush which means Embarrassment in Hebrew responded to chaos with more chaos and now eight years later order is being restored. The number eight has the sense of infinity, it is for this reason according to the Cabala that when we reach the end of the seventh day, the Shabbat day of rest, the week begins again at one.

America has a chance to begin anew and try to bring order into chaos. The Zohar-Book of Secret maintains that creation began on the planet Mars known as Tohu/Chaos mentioned in the very beginning of the Torah/Teaching saying “The world was Tohu.”

Our world is called Tikun/Fixing because it is our responsibility to fix the chaos of the previous world imbedded in the arrogance and selfishness self-proclaimed leaders.

The Worth of Money

Andy Warhol artwork 200 One Dollar Bills has sold in New York for $43.8m–the second highest auction price for a work by the pop artist.

Oscar Wilde famously defined a pessimist as one who knows the worth of everything but the value of nothing; an artist’s job often is to reflect the state of society with hope to effectuate change in society.

Our vapid, pointless and many times inhuman society regards our mutual promise embodied in paper money more than the human being who produces the promise; willing to sacrifice our children, our environment and even our soul for the sake of money has skewed our perception of reality.

In Torah/Teaching artistry is more acclaimed than the art; for example, it is known the women who came out of Egypt at the origin of the Jewish People 3500 years ago had the ability to weave a different picture on each side of the cloth at the same time and the men were able to beat one solid piece of solid gold into an elaborate vessel.

The Cabala relates money to the concept of Kesef/Silver since this word is related to Kasafta/Desire; each human being desires to reflect our light back to the Creator like a pane of glass with a thin veneer of silver–too much silver and the mirror no longer reflects, but only absorbs.

Put to Death

John Allen Muhammad was executed Tuesday night for the sniper attacks in 2002 that left 10 dead in a three-week killing spree. Muhammad's attorneys earlier had asked Governor Kaine to commute his sentence to life in prison because they said he was severely mentally ill.

There is capital punishment in the Torah, but it was rarely executed; the Talmud-Book of Law states that if more than one person in seventy years was put to death the courts were considered murderers. The reason for capital punishment in the Torah/Teaching is for the benefit of the soul as explained in the Cabala.

America puts people to death as a deterrent, an example to the rest of the population not to step out of line. The taking of a life is a very serious thing particularly when it is dragged out to a preordained finality for the sake of example–this is not justice this is retribution and revenge. Most civilized countries, despite the heinous nature of the crime, reject capital punishment.

In the final prayers of Yom Kippur/Day of Atonement is written, God does not want our death but our repentance. To put to death for the sake of deterrent a mentally ill man who thinks he is being executed because he is black–is inhuman.

When a person dies, good or bad, it is a custom among the Jewish People to say, Barach Dyan HaEmet/God is the True Judge.

Middle East Chaos

The collapse of the Palestinian Authority, Israel’s negotiating partner, was raised as a possibility on Monday, as several aides to its president, Mahmoud Abbas, said that he intended to resign and forecast that others would follow.

In the Midrash-Book of Metaphor is written, God lifted the mountain beneath which the Jewish People were camped and said: either accept the Torah or I will drop the mountain on you; the Midrash also says at the beginning of creation the Creator made a deal with the Jewish Soul, either accept the Torah or I will return the world back in chaos.

The players in this game of politics are puppets parroting their part while the people on both sides suffer. Like a child pulling his on hair, the Palestinians would rather inflict chaos on their own people than compromise; similarly, Israelis refuse to relinquish what they have won in war–the whole situation stinks. Undoubtably each will blame the other if God forbid things spiral out of control.

The Cabala explains the previous world was called Tohu/Chaos and our world is called Tikun/Order, in between these two worlds stands the unfathomable emptiness of space. Politics has failed to bridge that gap, it is time to look for another solution to this problem.

Only a no state solution can meld back together what Rome has sundered apart.

The Fall of the Wall

World leaders, dignitaries and thousands of visitors in Berlin mark the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall.

Robert Frost perhaps America’s most favorite poet wrote in the Mending Wall, Something there is that doesn't love a wall. In the end of the Five Books of Moshe the Torah states concerning the prophetic promises of peace to the world that we will live without walls or the need to gather together for the sake of security.

Robert Frost goes on to say that walls in the city keep people out while walls in the country hem animals within–but the Berlin Wall was meant only to divide. Division is antithetical to the singularity of the Creator who famously divided the waters to make place for creation because the ultimate goal of division is to bring about unity; the movement and desire of all creation is to reconnect and meld back into the pure light of the Creator.

The Cabala explains how all division comes as a result of contraction like a baby separating from the mother by means of the contractions of the womb–the purpose of contraction is revelation.

The baby of peace is about to be born, the contractions are over–now is only required to push.

HC Passes House

President Barack Obama has hailed as "historic" the approval of a health bill by the House of Representatives.

To rectify a wrong is the highest action a human being can take; in Hebrew it is called Tshuva/Return–compared to a mirror that returns the light to a further spot than the place of emanation. Similarly, when a wrong is committed to the poorer section of the population, used a human experiments to achieve working remedies for those who had funded the research–the rich, is truly historic.

All spiritual texts exalt helping the poor and those vocal adherents to these texts who voted instead for economic health and stability wish to perpetual this long standing wrong. The Cabala explains how to each spiritual illumination in our world is accompanied by an equal opposition–in this case those who pander to the rich.

A mirror is made from a piece of glass with a thin veneer of silver to reflect the light; if the silver is too thick the mirror will only absorb the light–like a bribe which blinds the eyes even of the wise.

Ztadaka/Charity needs to come from the heart, to be given because it is the right thing to do; charity is called in the Torah HaMitzvah/The Commandment because all things depend up the intention of the heart.

Begetting War

A warship built with steel salvaged from the World Trade Center has been put into service in New York. Hundreds of US Navy officers and sailors and also families of 9/11 victims attended the commissioning of the USS New York in Manhattan.

Perhaps the most famous prophesy from the Torah is that in the end we will beat our weapons of war into plow shears to help feed the hungry–obviously that has not yet happened.

The revenge of violence begets more violence as noted in the Talmud-Book of Law when Shami stood on the shore of a river and saw a skull floating on the surface; he said to the skull: you drown because you had drown another and in the end he who drown you will also be drown.

America conceived out of violent revolution is proud of her war machine, but does violence make us free? The Torah proclaims all the ways of Torah are peace, yet there is violence all through the Torah.

The Cabala explains the process of rectifying the previous world of Tohu/Chaos is through war, but in the end new souls full of compassion will be sent to the earth at the culmination of these 6000 years–presently we stand at 5770.

Shalom/Peace also has the meaning of whole as it says in the Torah without peace life is incomplete.

Stoned to Death

Islamists in southern Somalia have stoned a man to death for adultery but spared his pregnant girlfriend until she gives birth. "He was screaming and blood was pouring from his head during the stoning. After seven minutes he stopped moving," an eyewitness told the BBC.

The ancient punishment of stoning mentioned throughout the Torah/Teaching was seldom accomplished because the judges were commanded to find a loophole; the Talmud-Book of Law says that if the judges put to death more than one person in 70 years the judges were considered murderers.

When they did execute a person the law was adamant, there could be no pain. According to the to the Talmud a tall platform was built and the condemned who was drugged was thrown off the tower dying on impact–only after the person was dead were stones thrown upon the body. The punishment of stoning effects the soul not the body.

The laws of heaven are very strict but pain is not part of the punishment; there is enough pain in life without melting out more. There is no pain in the spiritual world, only justice. It does not mention stoning in the Koran and those who try to ignorantly apply the law by turning to the Torah sorely misunderstand the intention of the law.

God loves creation and waits for the children of man to return to the way of peace and respect.

Yankees Win 27th Title

In the 2009 World Series, the 105th edition of Major League Baseball's championship series, the New York Yankees defeated the Philadelphia Phillies four games to two to win the franchise's 27th World Series championship.

In the first 100 years of baseball history the Yankees won 26 games which is meaningful because God’s Four Letter Name YHVH is the gematria 26; 27 when written backwards makes the word Zaak/Stellar–twice times 26 is 52 half a live-time to the American indigenous people.

Truly, it was a stellar performance by the Yankees to began the next cycle of 100 year baseball history. It has taken the Yankees six years into this new cycle before winning which is a long time in New York where they are expected to win every year because they are the richest and the most powerful of all 30 major league teams.

There are many cabalistic inferences in baseball coupled the Yankees winning on the 17th of Chesvon in the Hebrew calendar the day when Noah’s celebrated flood began is notable. Baseball persists and grows because it is a physical manifestation of a spiritual symmetry indicative of truth.

Truth is found in prophesy and now that one season has ended prognostications for the upcoming season in the spring will begin–perhaps also in this next world cycle of 100 years the rich and powerful will not be as important.

The Dark of the Matter

A detailed picture of the seeds to structures in the universe confirm that dark matter and dark energy make up 95% of everything in existence, while ordinary matter makes up just 5%.

The Cabala relates five to the power on contraction depicted as the color red; the fifth celestial body in our solar system is Mars. The Cabala explains how existence came into being from the result of a massive contraction within the OreAinSof/LightWithoutEnd a hard light. It was through the original contraction that time and space were created.

The Zohar-Book of Secret identifies revealed worlds and hidden worlds, but not in equal proportions; like an iceberg, what is revealed is a small part of what exists. The Cabala explains that the heavens like the oceans sustain life from within, the outer six planets of our solar system also harbor life within–here on earth life lives upon the planet looking out into the universe, seeing creation from a different perspective.

Because creation is one of replication it is possible to infer from the five revealed percent (the four elements and the soul) the entirety of creation. The Midrash-Book of Metaphor establishes the physical earth as the lowest place in creation as witnessed by our ability through freedom of choice to write God out of the story of creation.

It says in the Torah that one goes down low to come up high–the point of creation is to get closer to the Creator.

Health and Sex

As health overhaul bills head toward the House and Senate floors this month, the divisive issue of abortion is threatening to derail them.

Is sex a health issue? Certainly the caring for the physical sexual organs is a health issue, but what about performance enhancing drugs like Viagra, contraception and abortion?

According to the Laws of the Torah sexuality, other than who and when, is without laws; though Jewish Law through the 613 Commandments fall on every aspect of life sexuality has no restraint or confine. In the previous world of Tohu/Chaos sexuality was dormant.

The human being on planet earth is defining sexuality through our acts and through our understanding of what is sexual–the one obvious place where male and female differ.

The Cabala explains the source of sexuality coming from the primordial building blocks of creation Ore/Light and Kli/Vessel; the light must connect to its spiritual source to be effective while the vessel requires constant upkeep.

According to the Torah: no Viagra, contraception completely at the discretion of the woman and terminating a pregnancy before the conception turns into a child at 41 days as both science, Torah and the Koran concur.

Government expediency is undesirable for settling such matters; the logic of the Torah and Koran needs to be given authority in this subject.

Wind, Air and Water

The Wampanoag tribes asked the Interior Department to declare all of Nantucket Sound, where a 130 wind turbines would be built, a “traditional cultural properties”. Tribal officials say their culture requires them to greet the sunrise each day and that this ritual requires unobstructed views of the horizon.

There are two types of human beings as put forth in the Torah/Teaching: one is physical and the other spiritual; the physical human being needs to gather together because there is power in numbers whereas the spiritual human beings wants to find their unique way in the world.

No one man can obstruct the horizon, pollute the rivers and seas or dump tons of toxic waste into the atmosphere–only a group can accomplish that dubious deed. In our technological world it may seem absurd that a spiritual consideration should be allowed to slow the pace of progress since the physical human being only believes what he sees.

In the Torah is written, lift up your eyes and see what God has created; the Cabala explains the physical eyes are never satisfied–meaning, when one recognizes physicality comes from the essence of the Creator to bring something out of nothing then eyes will never stop looking.

The human being is likened to a mirror, some with a thin veneer of silver which allows the light to be seen and reflect back; others have too much silver that takes the light and gives nothing back.

Brett Favre Returns

No matter what jersey he's wearing, whether he hears cheers or jeers, No. 4 is still No. 1 at Lambeau Field. Brett Favre returned to Green Bay as the opponent. He threw four touchdown passes in Minnesota's 38-26 victory.

At the age of forty returning to his home town after 18 years in the NFL with arguable the best running back in the league Adrian Peterson number 28 threw four touchdowns. These numbers beg for a cabalistic interpretation.

The number forty is based on ten times four since four is the basis of creation coming from God’s Four Letter Name YHVH combined with the Ten Sefirot the cabalistic atom upon which all creation is predicated. The number 28 when written in Hebrew makes the word Choach/Strength–a good number for a running back. The number forty also has deeper implications being that the flood was 40 days and nights, Moshe on the mountain was 40 days and nights and the people in the Wilderness were there for 40 years–pregnancy begins according to the Talmud-Book of Law 40 days after conception.

There is a spiritual story in this man being played out in front of the world week by week to the fascination of all fans. It is known in the Torah/Teaching that if one wants to know what to do learn the law, but if one wants the truth, watch the story.

Go Vikings.
