In the Torah and particularly in the Cabala ten is fundamental. The Ten Sepirot/Luminaries the cabalistic atom from which all creation stems is a ten-based patterned as reflected in the Ten Commandments and the ten celestial bodies the sun and nine planets that make up our solar system.
The fundamental numbers in the Torah according to the 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet go from one until ten corresponding to the first ten letters, afterwards each letter is ten until the last four letters which are 100. The final number in Hebrew is 400.
The essence which is One is found just beyond ten; known in the Cabala as Keter/Crown essence is considered 100 compared to creation which is considered to be ten. In the Cabala ten tens which equals one hundred is considered one–all inclusive.
Also in the world of money one, ten and one hundred are fundamental. The Talmud-Book of Law says, More is less and less is more; Esau father of Rome says in the Torah, I have a lot–Yaakov father of the Twelve Jewish Tribes purveyor of Oneness says, I have everything.
