San Francisco Supervisor Scott Wiener introduced legislation that would require nudists to put something under their bottoms if they take a seat in public and to cover up when they're in a restaurant.
Only the human being knows the shame of nudity – there are no naked animals; so ingrained into the human psyche is nudity that few cities in the world allow for free bodily expression. The story of the Torah begins with how first man and woman knew they were naked.
Human beings are made with a facility of knowing greater than the animals; the reason why humans are susceptible to pain more than the animal is due to our overabundance of knowing – the more you know, the more you hurt. The human being knows the shame of nudity.
The Cabala explains, Sexuality is the ninth luminary in the Ten Sefirot also known as the Tree of Life – Yesod/Foundation is made from the word Sod/Secret. Revealing the secret brings on embarrassed. The sensitive human being is repelled by the secret, flushing in the face.
The Midrash-Book of Metaphor says, in the End of Days the last King of Rome will be called Irom/Naked because of the embarrassment he will bring on his people – Bush in Hebrew means Embarrassment. Human nudity is shocking, but the secrets of government is alarming.
