THE CABALA OF CLEMENS

Roger Clemens was acquitted Monday on all charges that he obstructed and lied to Congress in denying he used performance-enhancing drugs to build his long and brilliant career as one of the greatest pitchers in baseball history.

After 23 years in the Majors, seven Cy Young Awards, Clemens had to wait five years to beat six counts of misconduct and now is free. It takes stamina and determination to overcome life’s challenges – sports’ heroes are beloved because of the example they provide to their fans.

There are 22 chromosomes in a gene, the 23rd is the sex; seven is the Day of Rest, six is called Zira Ampin/Small Faces related to the two lower triangles of the body: the two arms and the torso; two legs and the sex; five is the number of Gevorah/Severity and Strength.

In the Cabala, numbers and letters are frequently interchanged in what is known as gematria, providing a deeper look into the meaning of life. In baseball, numbers are the standard by which a player is evaluated but the character of the player is more than just the numbers.

The greatest teaching, more than any book or doctrine, is the living example of triumph over difficulty; his hard work and dedication will probably land Clemens in the Hall of Fame – in Heaven there is also a Hall of Fame, because all actions are written down in the Book of Life.
