New Decade

Revelers welcomed the new year in worldwide celebrations that often emphasized the hopes for a more peaceful future.

Ten is completion and it is also beginning; according to the Cabala everything physical and spiritual is formed in Ten Sefirot/Luminaries–from the atom until the universe, ten is the operative number of creation. The reason why our solar system is made of up of a sun and nine planets, why we sport ten toes and ten fingers and why the earth is made of seven continents and three oceans is because ten is both completeness and beginning. The previous ten years of zero has made a separation between the past and the future. The 2000 years promised to Rome has been completed and the Roman calendar is being reduced down to a mechanized time by which computers will continue to operate, but the myth of Rome will be put to rest. A new time is beginning known as the End of Days during which the Roman, Mayan and Hebrew calendars will end and the human being will be spiritually transformed. In the Cabala the lower seven of the ten is related directly to life on the earth, the seven continents. The seventh continent, Antarctica corresponds to the seventh day, the Day of Rest which begins in 230 years–no wonder it is beginning to melt.

The Big Zero

From an economic point of view, I’d suggest that we call the decade past the Big Zero...Paul Krugman NYT.

The Cabala states the distance between zero to one is greater than the distance from one to infinity because infinity is made from endless ones whereas from nothing to something is miraculous. This same idea is applicable to our time.

There are some who think this is the beginning of the third Roman millennium, but they are wrong as evident from the sorry state of government and religion destroying the body and the soul of God given life. Instead it is a time of tremendous change and restitution.

In the Torah this prophetic time is called End of Days. The Roman calendar has been reduced to a technological time necessary to machines as the Mayan and Hebrew calendars end a chasm of opportunity arises for the world to define herself by those who live upon her.

The world comes out of nothing continually since the nature of creation is not to be created; each moment of creation is an chance to change the world by fixing our intention-the rudder of our voyage from nothing to something.

A Mystical Experience

For the first time in 47 years of polling, the number of Americans who said that they have had a mystical experience was greater than those who said that they had not.

A notable shift is happening in the world foretold by the Torah/Teaching along with other ancient texts and inscriptions like the Mayan calendar. This shift comes at a time known as the End of Days when three major calendars culminate and end within a few hundred years.

The 6000 year Hebrew calendar ends in 230 years, the 5000 year old Mayan calendar ends in 2012, the Roman calendar ended at 2000. These milestones in time represent the End of Days when new souls will be born into the world conducting us into the future.

Soon it will become apparent that this cumbersome apparatus of world connectivity and commerce can not be continued and then the world will transform from a substance based society into pattern and form. Mystical experiences happen at a level of form and pattern but lacking substance.

The Cabala teaches that the smaller the substance the greater the light. Like the first human being who was made of fire these new souls having waited 6000 years are ready to help the world come into the light.

Ramadhan

On Saturday, the holy month of Ramadhan began on the same day for both Sunnis and Shiites, the first time that has happened in 10 years. Ramadhan is the month in which the first verses of the Qur'an were revealed to the Prophet Muhammad.

The most significant divide between Sunnis and Shiites is in their perspective about Moshiach/Messiah; in political terms Sunnis are conservative willing to wait for Moshiach for the sake of stability whereas the Shiites, the liberals, wants to race forward by treating the present as if it is the future–as if Moshiach had already arrived.

The fact that these two sects are celebrating Ramadhan on the same month first time for ten years is significant because the number ten shows on completeness–natural for us humans with ten fingers and toes. Also Ramadhan connects with the Hebrew calendar which ends this month with the beginning of the new year Rosh HaShana which this year begins a new decade denoted by the letter Aiyin/70.

Aiyin also means Eye. It is time for the Jewish and Muslim Peoples to open their eyes and see that which binds us is far greater than that which divides.

Woodstock Turns Forty

A dairy farm in upstate New York was the centre of celebrations marking the 40th anniversary of Woodstock. In 1969, more than 300,000 people came to the farm to take part in three days of peace and love.

It says in the Talmud-Book of Law that one does not understand the words of their teacher until forty years, leading us to ask, what does Woodstock mean after forty years. Many of us, including Bob Dylan thought it was a rip off and did not attend–and it was a rip off, but who cares; the one thing that was for sure, it marked the end of an era.

The Hebrew and Roman calendar have in common the last digit meaning both calendar line up in decades with a forty year difference–the Hebrew calendar is just ending the sixties. Sixty in Hebrew is denoted by the Somach/60 which is described by a circle and was ascribed in the Oral Tradition as being the letter which denoted miracle since it hung suspended in the ether of the Ten Commandments which had been engraved by the Finger of God into a cube of Sapphire.

None of us in that time thought we would live to see thirty–it was a miracle the world survived; this last decade–the sixties in the Hebrew calendar, beginning with the presidency of Bush and Dick was equally scary, but thank God we survived.

The New Moon

The Jewish year revolves around the moon and tonight is the first night of the second month a very prestigious time--the day when the First and Second Temple’s construction began; it is also when the Jewish People entered into the wilderness.

The Twelves months of the Jewish calendar correspond to the Twelve Tribes of the Jewish People--this month is the tribe of Yiscicar symbolized by the ox. This northern tribe was known for their ability to sit and study--their were renown for their understanding of the transits of the stars and the regulating of time.

This time, today has an added importance since the holiday of the new moon coincides with the counting of the Omer whose number is 17 gematria Tov/Good--known as Tiferit Sheba Tiferit/Beauty of Beauty when all things are good.

The President and the New Moon

President Barack Obama spoke to the joint houses of Congress, the American People and the world last night at the advent of the New Moon.

The month of Adar in the Hebrew calendar coincides with the beginning of spring; according to the Talmud-Book of Law when the month of Adar begins happiness increases. The new moon of each month is considered a holiday because it is a time of transition called Maled/Birthing when the moon is completely without light. In the birth process the most difficult part of the birth is called transition. All transitions are difficult, but with the proper guidance the needed process can happen without much trauma.

This propitious time of the new month was utilized by the president to address the inhabitance of the world announcing spring is on the way. In the Hebrew calendar which is regulated by the moon, there are four New Years one for each season; in the fall is the New Year for the earth called Rosh HaShana, the winter and summer celebrate the new year for the trees-water and the New Year for the animal-fire in the summer. The New Year for the human-air (speakers) happens in the spring and celebrates freedom.
