More than 300 bars and liquor stores are unable to buy booze because their $20 alcohol-purchasing licenses have expired as a result of the Minnesota government shutdown.
People drink alcohol to soothe the pain of life by dulling the mind and altering the senses felt in the heart – though the head is situated above the heart, when drunk the emotions take sway. In our modern world of increasing stress drinking is on the raise.
The Talmud-Book of Law says, Enters wine, exits Truth. The truth is held in the heart pervading the emotions; the Midrash-Book of Metaphor teaches, There are three knots: God, the soul and the people. God connects to the soul and the soul to the people – two knots!
The Zohar-Book of Secret says, No Mind Can Comprehend; this phrase indicates that the heart can comprehend the secrets of creation – explaining why there are three knots. God is connected to the soul, the soul to the body that connects directly to God through the heart.
The secret is hidden in the heart, not the brain. Drinking inhibits the brain then frees the heart to emote without forethought. The head situated above the heart protecting the secret, is like a man who protects a woman because in woman lies the truth.
