RED, WHITE AND BLUE

Americans are celebrating Independence Day - the anniversary of the day the country's founding fathers declared independence from Britain in 1776.

The colors of the American flag have cabalistic significance; each of the Ten Sefirot/Luminaries reflect a color; the two primal opposites are the external colors, red and blue while the inner color is white. White light breaks up into all colors through a prism.

Blue is the color of Chesed/Kindness and red is the color of Gevorah/Severity; white is of Keter/Crown. The crown is made of two integrated parts – Tianug/Pleasure and Rutzon/Will – the source. When these three colors are integrated, the green of creation is made.

Green is the color of Tiferet/Beauty and Truth, the fulcrum of compassion that is implied in the Red, White and Blue. The fifty stars are related to the Fifty Gates of Understanding and the Jubilee, after fifty years is when land is returned to the original owner.

Fifty is forever, according to the Talmud-Book of Law, and after a few short centuries America has risen to the status of super power. By maintaining a balance between the red and the blue through the power of the white is the cabalistic secret to America's longevity.
