Data from a space telescope suggest the family of asteroids thought to have caused the death of the dinosaurs is probably not the culprit, U.S. astronomers say.
The existence of dinosaurs is a snag in the history of humanity – to what purpose were the dinosaurs, other than representing a question within creation? According to the Cabala, all animal and vegetable life fell from the heavens; this is consistent with scientists.
In the beginning of the Torah, the Creator calls forth life from within the earth that had been planted their – having fallen from the previous world, called Tohu/Confusion. The Zohar-Book of Secret identifies Tohu as the planet Mars – the first place of creation.
The Torah begins with the letter Bet/2 to indicate that Earth is the second creation. Tohu was a place of unbridled independents and chaos. The Earth is called Tikun/Fixing, fixing the broken vessel of Tohu through a stream of water conveyed life down to the Earth.
Once embedded in the earth, God called out to each creature to arise, but surely there were some that God discarded and were left there to mulch in the earth until they turned into oil. Theories come and go, but the Torah/Teaching remains the same throughout time.
