THE CABALA OF GIANT

The favored Detroit Tigers are rested, their starting rotation is perfectly aligned, their lineup is filled with power, but the San Francisco Giants' second World Series title in three seasons is on the line.

During the first 2000 years of human history, according to the Torah, the Anachim/Giants came from the heavens and once entering into our atmosphere took on physical shape, allowing them to inculcate into the population. Avraham was considered the last of the Anachim 4000 years ago.

These giants were not big in statue, but in character and ability they were mammoth; most of the giants were cruel and disrespectful to the rights of the indigenous population on the Earth – the giants lorded over the earth, instituting the custom of first rights to a married woman.

Later there were giants in Torah/Teaching and Avoda/Service, but now in our time there are giants in baseball. There are many cabalistic aspects to baseball like the the diamond and the number ten; the configuration of the ballpark is reminiscent to the form of the Ten Sefirot.

The biggest part of being a giant in believing in yourself as being a giant. The original Anachim/Giants were in comparison to natural human beings but now, as a result, all human beings are imbued with the capacity to be a giant. The true giant, is a giant in their soul.

THE CABALA OF SMELL

Space may be a near-vacuum, but apparently it has a distinct odor, and now NASA has hired a scent chemist to try to reproduce that characteristic smell.

The Cabala describes smell as being the highest sense of the human body – more than seeing, hearing, tasting and touch. These five distinct attributes used for interacting with our environment corresponds to the five parts of the soul animating the five levels of the body.

The eyes correspond to the head, the ears to the torso and the power of touch are the legs connecting to the earth; will and pleasure correspond to taste and smell working in unison to direct the three outer senses – taste like will is external while smell, like pleasure, is internal.

The two nostrils, separated a by a thin cartilage, is the closest of the extremities: two eyes, two ears, two lips and two hands. The eyes and the ears correspond to the two hemispheres of the brain; the nose represents the third eye, called Dat/Knowing, connects to the soul.

Outer space represents the spiritual world where the soul, big a star, connects to the body through a thin line of light; when this thread of connection is severed, the body dies and the consciousness of the person draws away with the light – a scent evaporating into space.

THE CABALA OF MARILYN MONROE

Death has done nothing to diminish the larger-than-life image of Marilyn Monroe; the eternal Hollywood sexpot — gone now a half-century — remains all tousled blond hair and soft red lips, the voice still breathless and the curves still breathtaking.

Marilyn Monroe was all woman; she epitomized woman in her beautiful face and body – there was something pristine about her. I was a child and Marilyn looked like an angel but was also playful and very real. I was transfixed by her naked body on the famous 1950 calendar.

The Cabala explains, Women were completed in the previous world and are here to help man become complete in this world; woman is inspiration – without woman, man would have no reason to live. Within every woman there is a Marilyn Monroe – the first of Huge Heftner’s famous playmates.

The number 50 in Torah is considered a culmination: after every 49 years the Jubilee is celebrated; there are 49 gates leading to Bena/Understanding – 50; there are 49 days between Passover, going out of slavery until the fiftieth day – Mounton Torah/Giving of the Law.

The Torah teaches, Each year, after the death, the soul rises to a higher level – this year Marilyn will enter into Bena/Understanding also called Ema Eluy/High Mother. She was 36 years old when she died; the number 36 is twice 18 made by two letters producing the word Chai/Life.

THE CABALA OF GAGA STRIPPED

Lady Gaga stripped down in a print ad for her new Fame fragrance; there appears to be tiny men climbing up the singer's lithe figure – blood and semen is in the perfume, “The blood was taken from my own blood sample, so it's like a sense of having me on your skin.”

The Cabala teaches, The soul is in the blood; for this reason the blood of an animal must be covered with earth after being slaughtered, out of respect. The soul gives life to the elements making up the body; death happens when the soul departs, cutting the cord to the body.

Lady Gaga doesn’t just do things, she does them with a point – her view of the world is honest. In Jewish Law the pick-pocket is punished more than the armed robber because an honest thief is more admirable than a liar. Honesty and performance are almost antithetical - her brilliance.

There are people who shock and disturb by the crude language or picture, but Gaga portrays what is – like Dylan portrays what is. Artists are mirrors of society – they don’t make the rules, they just break the rules; without the true artist society becomes black and white.

The highest sense of the human being is Raiauch/Smell which is related to the third eye called Daat/Knowing that is tied to the essence combined in Ratzon/Will and Tianug/Pleasure. Lady Gaga embodies all of these attributes – aligning with truth emboldens the natural ability.

THE CABALA OF DEPRESSION

Few medicines have been greeted with as much exultation as Prozac, Paxil and Zoloft, but now the same antidepressants have become the new villains of modern psychopharmacology and a pill-happy culture searching for quick fixes for complex mental problems.

The Cabala clearly states, The only good in depression is getting out of depression. Though there is no sin in the Torah for being depressed, yet all bad actions stem from depression – a fundamental desire not to live. In between birth and death is the will to be or not to be.

The Rabbis, 2000 years ago, who affixed the daily prayers, did not require the supplicant to know the meanings of the words other than one sentence: God’s open hand gives sustenance to all will. Will is beyond thought or reason; depression is a cancerous will eating away the soul.

Will surrounds and permeates the body effecting thoughts, moods and actions – when will is gone, life is gone. Shaul, the first appointed King of Israel, was famously depressed, leading him to actions that under minded his kingship and his eventual demise. Dovid was the next king.

Dovid had a very difficult life from beginning to end, but Dovid loved God; he always saw his sins before him and therefore saw the punishments melted out from life as the love of God bringing him closer. Moshiach, who will bring happiness to the world, is destined to come from Dovid.

THE CABALA OF EXISTENCE

As the sun heads toward its 2013 maximum, the corresponding increase in space weather may temporarily strip the radiation belts around Earth of their charged electrons; a new study says, The deadly particles are blown into space rather than cast into Earths's atmosphere.

The Cabala explains, The Earth is alive irregardless of the human being; the Earth will always harbor life because God, who is King, spoke the world into existence – the Word of the King never changes. The Zohar-Book of Secret refers to the Solar System as, Earth.

The portrayal of the scientists of this etheric phenomenon in the Earth’s upper atmosphere is reminiscent of a body losing skin; the study also explains that within a few days the lost electrons are replenished. If the planets are alive, then do they have a soul?

The Rambam, also known as Maimonides, explains, The soul has the most cognition of God, then the angels, then the planets and the lastly the human being. The basis for existence is, matter animated with motion; whatever exists, from the atom to the star, has a soul.

After a 26,000 year cycle, the Earth enters into the galactic horizon at the end of 2012 when the solar energy will peek as a burst from the black hole in the center of our galaxy 26,000 light years ago will arrive. The gematria of God’s Four Letter Name YHVH is, 26.

THE CABALA OF BAPTISM

In France, an elderly man is fighting to make a formal break with the Catholic Church; he's taken the church to court over its refusal to let him nullify his baptism, in a case that could have far-reaching effects.

Those who champion the right of the baby to live over, even the right of the mother to live, gives the new born baby no right when it comes to the Church whose dogma insists, The child is marked for eternity by the baptism. Who has the right to mark the soul of a child?

The tradition of the Jewish People is, Whoever is born of a Jewish mother is Jewish, has a Jewish soul and is thereby obligated to perform the 613 Commandments; the mark made on a Jewish child is in the flesh of the circumcision, a sign of revealing the hidden secret.

The Cabala explains, The circumcision is a way to express, how the Will of God trumps the pleasure of man. Looking at this symbol of manhood numerous times a day, reminds man of his obligation to perform the 613 Commandments for which the Jewish People were chosen.

Christianity marks the soul, leaving the body free, assuming constant forgiveness; the Torah requires the body be marked so the soul can be free – by the body fulfilling his obligation to God, the soul becomes unfettered in her attempt to become closer to the Creator.

THE CABALA OF DARK MATTER

The largest map of dark matter ever made is one of several new ones that will help to nail the properties of the equally mysterious dark energy, which is thought to drive the universe's accelerating expansion.

The Cabala explains, Creation is a result from the engraving into the OreAinSof/LightWithoutEnd the Four Letter Name YHVH, splitting the hard light into four sections – black holes, quasars, galaxies and solar systems. The black matter is what is left over.

Creation is made of soul and vessel that eventually, after endless attenuations became matter and energy; Dark Matter is neither spirit nor substance – Dark matter is the LightWithoutEnd without the light. Like creation, the soul is hewed out of this hard light.

Creation is made of Ten Sefirot/Lumminaries, comparable to the Sun and the nine planets; the OreAinSof/LightWithoutEnd is made of infinite sefirot/luminaries. Since the human being can only think in terms of physical and spiritual there is no way to comprehend Dark Matter.

Like God, the OreAinSof/LightWithoutEnd is always present. The Talmud-Book of Law says, The ancient ones 6000 years ago knew the pathways through the heavens; astronomers of today are just beginning to comprehend the structure of creation, but seeing is believing.

Blood of Life

More than one third of the life-saving blood donations worldwide are made by people under the age of 25, the United Nations World Health Organization announced June 14 on the occasion of World Blood Donor Day.

The human being is called with the general name Adom which can be broken down into Aleph/1; Dom/Blood–the oneness of the soul is in the blood. Murder is called Shikfit Domim/Spilling Blood–the opposite is giving blood to save lives.

It is taught in the Talmud-Book of Law that the soul is invested in the blood, it is one of the 613 Commandments to the Jewish People to cover the blood of an animal after slaughter as a sign of respect. It is also a commandment not to drink blood.

The body is infused with soul from the brain which has very little blood thus able to receive the fire from the soul translating fire into electrical impulses and chemical reactions sending messages to the heart. Life depends upon the heart passing the soul through the blood to the limbs of the body.

The Cabala considers the heart and the lungs to be one–the blood is in the left side and the air in the right side, together they receive the fire from the soul after being diffused through the brain. Blessed are the youth who willingly give their soul to the sick.

Aging Happiness

A large Gallup poll has found that by almost any measure, people get happier as they get older, and researchers are not sure why.

The Bal Shem Tov, Jewish mystic 250 years ago, taught how children and grandparents have a natural affinity since they have a common enemy–the parents. Children are naturally happy as are the elderly, the years in between are filled with aspirations trying to attain happiness.

The Torah/Teaching explains how the child has recently come from the soul and elderly are going back to the soul, the middle age is full of striving for more. Many save for their old age only to find things do not suffice– the power of the soul is more alluring.

The Cabala explains how the power of the soul derives ability from staring into the OreAinSof/LightWithoutEnd from where she was hewn; the OreAinSof/LightWithoutEnd is a reflection of the Creator–seeing is pleasure. The child still sees heaven and the elders begin to remember.

What is happiness and why is the most productive part of life the most unhappy? The Torah teaches, we go down to go up; the most down time is the time away from the soul–furthest from heaven. The way the soul gets closer to God is through coming down to the earth to perfect physicality.

Jewish Mothers

Several recent rabbinic rulings on fertility treatment dictate that a child conceived in vitro is Jewish only if the egg came from a Jewish woman.

What makes a person Jewish is their soul; the difference between the Jewish soul and other human souls is the Jewish soul is Benia Bekorim/First Born as mentioned many times in the Torah. The first born is chosen by God–every family has one.

To be first obligates further responsibilities; it is why the Jewish People are obligated to 613 Commandments while the rest of the world is cool with God if they do the Seven Commandments of Noah. This original human soul passed through 26 generations from Adom, the first human, until Moshe took the Jewish People from the womb of Egypt and became a people.

The soul given to the Jewish People was in the form a blessing transmitted through the Three Fathers: Avraham, Yitzchok and Yaakov later called Yisroel/Israel. The four wives of Yisroel bore twelve sons who are progenitors of the Twelve Tribes of Israel. Today only the tribe of Levi is recognized and the rest of the Jewish People are simple called Yiroel/Israel.

Who has a Jewish soul is determined by the mother; if the mother is Jewish then the child is Jewish–born with the obligation of 613 Commandments.

Pope Prays to Shroud

Pope Benedict prayed to the shroud of Turin saying, "The Holy Shroud eloquently reminds us always of the one who was crucified and who has shared our suffering.”

The shroud is no more true than the story it portends, but since there is no evidence of the crucifixion story at all after 2000 years of archeological and historical research the Church is forced to turn to something with substance, even if it is a lie.

It is the animal part of the person who desires a thing of substance to prostrate before because the animal gets its sustenance from the angels while the human soul connects directly with the Creator through the power of pleasure; since the Creator is neither physical nor spiritual there is nothing in creation to hold on to–just the Creator.

Those who embrace the animal soul over the human soul live by a manufactured morality that forgives the rich sinner–called Indulgences. Like the animal, religion just wants to survive and be king of the jungle.

There is no relic in all of creation that has any resemblance to the Creator. The Cabala explains, only through becoming nothing can once glimpse Y’kar DeMalcha/Glory of the King; it is why sight comes from the dark of the eye–a sign from the Creator who is beyond illumination.

Why 420

According to Steven Hager, editor of High Times, the term 420 originated at San Rafael High School, in 1971, among a group of about a dozen pot-smoking wiseacres who called themselves the Waldos.

The question is not about how this custom began but why it persists until becoming a world-wide phenomenon–smoking herb at 4:20. The Torah, particularly the Cabala provides answers.

Ashun/Smoke has a gematria of 420; also the three letters which make up the word Ashun are an acrostic for Olam/World, Shana/Time and Nefesh/Soul. When the Torah was given on Har Sinai the mountain Ashun/Smoked. The first ingredient of Ketoret/Incense is KaneBusim/Good Smell–Cannabis was also used in the inner service of the Temple–known to stand against plagues and rid the Temple of insects.

Herb was introduced into the world during the time of Avraham 4000 years ago; Avraham brought this special plant from Mars where the Tower of Babel had been erected–at the end of his life, Avraham sends his children that he has with Ketoret off to the east with gifts.

When one goes up to read the Torah before the congregation he is given an Aliah/Getting High–In the Torah God is referred to as, On High. To get high is to get closer to God through on the world stuck in time with our souls.

What is Jewish

Jewish extremists have urged supermodel Bar Refaeli not to marry her actor boyfriend, Leonardo DiCaprio, because it would dilute the Jewish race.

There is no Jewish race; the Jewish People are comprised of those born of a Jewish mother through which the soul’s obligation of performing 613 commandments is transfered–others can become Jewish through the acceptance of the 613 commandments, but there is no Jewish blood because Jewish is determined by the soul.

Jewish politics and religion are manufactured by man but being Jewish is a direct command from the Creator. The 365 day orbit of the earth around the sun corresponds to the 365 negative commandments while the 248 years Pluto rotates the sun corresponds to the 248 positive commandments between the seven outer orbs of our solar system.

The pinnacle of pray exclaims God Echud/One is explained in the Talmud-Book Law extrapolating from these three letters of Echud/One to be the seven heavens and the earth with four directions. When the Seven Commandments of Noah that obligates all peoples are added to the 613 Commandments of the Jewish People they equal 620 which is Keter/Crown.

The Cabala says man is the fire of Yud/10 and woman is the fire of Hey/5 together they make Ya–the first Name of God.

Pluto Shines

NASA has released the most detailed set of images ever taken of the distant dwarf planet Pluto. The images show an icy and dark molasses-colored, mottled world that is undergoing seasonal changes in its surface color and brightness.

This tiny world with three moons whose long elliptical orbits stretch far into the Kiber Belt is no longer deemed a planet because of its distance and smallness. In the Cabala the tenth is considered Malchut/Royalty corresponding to the mouth with the three parts of speech the lips, teeth and tongue.

Speech is the quality which separates the human being from the animal–our ability to articulate thoughts into words. Even though the soul enters in to the body through the right hemisphere of the brain it has to complete the circuit of the entire body before exiting the mouth as words.

The Cabala teaches how life exists on earth and the six out worlds from earth even though Pluto was only discovered within the last hundred years.

The first two human beings Adom/Adam and Chava/Eve according to the Torah were formed on the earth than brought to Gan Aden just beyond the Kiber Belt, but after being rejected for eating from the Tree of Knowledge found themselves on Pluto where the Kiber Belt looked like many swords preventing reentry to Gan Aden.

Peter Paul and Mary

Last night brought the news that Mary Travers of Peter, Paul and Mary, at age 72, has passed away. Travers was diagnosed with leukemia in 2004, but only recently stopped performing.

This trio of idealists was the soul of our nation taking us through the the tremulous times of the sixties; for fifty years singing the soul of America. The trio is no more, the feminine part of the soul has arisen into heaven along with that beautiful, evocative voice.

It says in the Torah that the angels in heaven can not begin to sing until the human being sings first; the Cabala adds the simile that water is compared to the Torah and wine is compared to the secret of the Torah; oil is compared to the song of the Torah–oil floats above them all. Water nurtures growth, wine brings out pleasure, oil supports fire–light is the essence of the soul.

The number fifty indicates forever as it says in the Torah a Jewish slave will be forever, but is released every fifty years for the Yuvol–Final Earth Rest; 72 is the highest number related to the YHVH Four Letter Name of God indicating the completion of the human soul within the body. Fifty and seventy makes 120 the full number of years for a human life as prescribed in the Torah–there are two numbers left over, Peter and Paul.

Lag B'Omer

Two thousand years ago Rabbi Shimon ben Y’Choi author of the Zohar-Book of Secret passed away commanding his followers to celebrate this day since he was returning to the place from where his soul was hewn. The Zohar, the knowledge he transmitted to the earth a 1000 years later is unquestionably the highest knowledge known to the Jewish People.

Five hundred years ago the Cabala came along as key to the Zohar by explaining in intricate detail the workings of creation from the first moment of movement through myriad worlds culminating in the form of the human being upon planet earth. The celebration which still occurs throughout the world brings together all strata of Jewish People who sing and dance around fire throughout the night.

It is a sign that revelation of the essence will bring peace.
