Two hundred years ago the Haitian People imported slaves from West Africa rebelled against their French oppressors and gained freedom; for their efforts they have been purposely and brutally dealt with by later oppressors–America being one of them during our era of manifest destiny. The slave was still being punished, set up for the inevitable fall.
The Cabala teaches a thing can not grow until it first decays back to nothing; it is why the seed rots before it grows. Perhaps now before the eyes of the world with the help of the world Haiti will become a paradise built to protect the people.
The Torah/Teaching is said to make one free; the Torah and all the holy books of the world explicitly and forcefully demand the poor be cared for, any poor everywhere throughout the world until poverty is eradicated.
Eventually the fascination for money and the lure of its vapid promises will be diminished and there will arise in its stead a new respect for the human being. A bill of human rights needs to drawn up assuring everyone in the world food, clothing and appropriate shelter–then we can all be free.
