Normally Abnormal

ScienceDaily–People who inherit a specific form of a gene that puts them on a road to schizophrenia and autism may be protected against some forms of cancer.

The mechanization of society championed by the secular world requires the human being to be modeled to the machine instead of the other way around. It is this kind of continual behavior which fuels the carcinogenic material inherent in such jobs.

Those with genetic mental disorders are generally excluded because of their bizarre behavior in the workplace. But, now scientists discover there is a natural selection happening here sickening those easily adaptable to mechanized culture while preserving those deemed mentally inadequate–ironic.

The Torah segregates life into four categories: the inanimate, growing, animal life and speakers–the human being. It is our ability to communicate complex ideas through articulated thoughts that makes us human–elevated beyond a mere animal. Normality is not defined by our ability to meld to the machine, but to be individuals.

Some people have an instinctive nature of individual strength often displayed as mental illness. Drug addiction, prostitution, thieving and violence can all be traced to people unable to bow to the machine.

All of the cabalists over the last 2000 years from the Rashbi to the Bal Shem Tov have extolled the simple and the lives they lead, said to the holiest before God.
