Message from Heaven

Scott Brown, a little-known Republican state senator rode to an extraordinary upset victory in the overwhelmingly Democratic state of Massachusetts.

Precisely one year from becoming President, Mr. Obama and the Democratic Party have taken a blow losing the seat held by Ted Kennedy–liberal lion of the Senate whose focus on health care was famous. On the surface the vote was a message from the people wanting to blunt the filibuster majority in the Senate, but the coincidence of time and circumstance can not be overlooked.

God is neither Democrat or Republican; God’s part in the political process is to keep it going by creating each atom every moment in the process of creation–but, God is King who made decrees for the human being to live by, like taking care of the poor, the feeble and the children–nothing about health care.

The problem with politics is its agenda which proposes economics before compassion; the reason the government is pushing for universal health care is because of the economic hardships imposed by not having universal care–not to have a healthier society.

The Torah espouses the opposite position, the human being is primary. The Cabala sees life as the soul come into the body to rectify the instinct for physical comforts by turning the human animal towards the Creator.
