The Sun unleashed a solar flare with a spectacular coronal mass ejection on June 7, 2011 from a sunspot complex that hit the Earth today with little effect.
Along with this months partial eclipses at the beginning and ends of this month at the north and south poles and a total lunar eclipse over the Middle East in the middle of the month is this extraordinary solar flare that comes to the Earth on the holiday of Shavuot.
Shavuot, the holiday celebrating the giving of the Torah to the Jewish People over 3500 years ago, was the beginning of the process, climaxing in our time, to bring peace to the world through the vehicle of understanding. The power to question is the key.
The Cabala states, Chochma/Power of What, that resides in the right lobe of the brain, where the soul connects to the body, is how the world becomes purified. Through purification light will extend to every person in the world and then Moshiach will come forth.
God has always spoken to the world through signs and wonders, but the interpretation is not always obvious; perhaps it is enough to know that God is here pulling the strings - but there does seem to be some kind of message coming to the earth.
