Apple Chief Executive Officer Steve Jobs, by introducing a service that shares files across different Internet-linked devices, the iCloud, takes another step toward sidelining the personal-computer industry.
The Cabala explains how the soul enlivens the body from heaven by providing light to the 248 limbs of the body and yet the body does effect the soul. The soul, a part of Godliness, is not a part of God. Between God and Creation is OreAinSof/LightWithoutEnd – the Great Name.
It is from this essential light of God that the soul is hewn and even so the light coming from the soul to the body is only a radiance and not the actual light. To illustrate how it is the body does not effect the soul: a blind person can give birth to one who sees.
The small amount of spiritual light that does come into the body animating life is after endless attenuations of cause and effect rendering a virtual separation from the lowest part of the soul called: Gashmyot Shel Ruchniot/Physicality of the Spiritual.
The iCloud is the spiritual of the physical connecting all the different devices to one all-encompassing entity likened to the soul. As a result of the physical manifesting the spiritual, the spiritual will also become more manifest in the physical world.
