Speaker of the House John Boehner announced Saturday evening that he would no longer be negotiating a “grand bargain” on the debt limit with President Obama and the Democrats.
After Dick and Bush got us into this mess by pursuing two unfunded wars, now Boehner (pronounced Bonner) is losing some of that stiffness required to rule – his power is suddenly wilted, overcome by the dogma of his party not to raise taxes on the wealthy.
In Jewish Law there are laws for every aspect of life from the moment of awakening in the morning to sleep at night – there are even laws about how to sleep, but there are no laws about how to have sex. Sexuality is beyond thought originating in will and pleasure.
The kind of sex Bush and Dick inflicted on this country and on the world with their wars, was rape; now the party that brought us war wants to bring austerity for all but the war mongers who can never have enough. Virulent and hard Bohner has softened his stance.
