Unfortunately, this message has been skewed by religion to mean One God. In ancient times when people served many gods, an acknowledgment of the Creator was widely accepted throughout the world – the question was: Is the Creator present in creation?
The Creator never speaks or communicates directly with creation because the Creator is not of creation, yet is always present. Quoting Psalms, God's wondrous knowledge, elevated beyond what can be done; To where can you escape? God is everywhere all the time.
Two thousand years ago the Great Sanhedrin of seventy elders met to decide cases of capital punishment; the Talmud-Book of Law decreed, If they put to death more than one person in 70 years the judges were consider murders because God is the final Judge.
