PROPHETIC PEOPLES

Millions of Muslims from around the world were in the holy city of Mecca on Saturday for the first day of Hajj, the annual pilgrimage that every able-bodied Muslim is expected to perform at least once in his or her life.

The Torah and the Koran are the two prophetic texts based on languages, Hebrew and Arabic, given by the patriarch Avraham who live 4000 years ago. Avraham lived in the Tower of Babel and retained the the secret of speech – knowing the 22 movements of the mouth.

In the beginning language was one, but as a result of the Tower of Babel, the one language was broken; subsequent generation fitted together the shards of sounds to manufacture communications; Avraham was able to fashion language for each of his two sons.

For his first son, Ishmael, father of the Arab People, was taught Arabic, a 28 letter language representing the heart; Avraham's second son Yitzchok was taught a 22 letter language, Hebrew, a language of the brain. Hebrew and Arabic are whole languages fit for prophecy.

Only a whole language is a vehicle for the prophecy that comes out of the heavens; as it says, Heavens are to God but the Earth is for man. What comes from the heavens is exact, the Word of God. The Koran is the fruit, while Torah is the seed – together they are one.
