The ranks of America's poor are greater than previously known, reaching a new level of 49.1 million or 16%, due to rising medical costs and other expenses that make it harder for people to stay afloat, according to new census estimates.
The number 49, seven times seven, indicates completion; when even a small amount of that number is increased, that constitutes fifty – and fifty is forever. According to the Torah, if a slave refuses to be freed he then most work for the master forever – fifty years.
Even Moshe, who led the Jewish People into freedom out of the 49 gates of Tumah/Impurity, could not enter into the fiftieth gate of holiness because fifty is forever. When a Jewish boy turns thirteen and one day he is considered to have completed the 13th years.
The number 16, is comprised of the two male letters of the YHVH (Yud/10 and Vav/6) Without the female Hey/5 there is no compassion – 16 percent of Americans are in poverty. All peoples understand, compassion is the highest human attribute. Is America without compassion?
God, the Creator of Heaven and Earth, loves creation; giving plentitude to the earth from lush futile ground succulent produce to feed and clothe a much larger population – but, greed and arrogance of man got in the way. Soon the world will enter the 1000 years of woman.
