CABALA (KABBALAH) OF CANCER

Around 40% of cancers in women and 45% of those in men could be prevented by a healthier lifestyle, including drinking less, smoking less and losing weight, according to the most comprehensive study of the risk factors to date.

Smoking, drinking and eating too much correspond to the triangle of the body made from the heart, lungs and stomach; the mixture of air and nutrients coursing through the body, powered by the heart, supports life. Torah permits eating, drinking and smoking in moderation.

Jewish Law maintains, Even though eating is permitting, eating too much, of even the best food, is bad for the body; drinking also has a place as is said, The wine goes in and the truth comes out – Ashun/Smoke is an acronym for Olam/World; Shana/Time and Nefesh/Soul.

The letters of Adom/Human can be rearranged to spell Moad/Much; the human being has the predilection towards more – more spirit gives life but more physical brings disease. Progress can be a cancer if it has no purpose; the striving for more without a reason – is insanity.

More needs to be modified with a goal other than making more money which is the biggest cancer of all. The Cabala explains, the smallest point receives the greatest light – the essence of Moad/More can only be grasped by the small, the humble and the moderate.
