As the American war in Iraq comes to an end, some troops find themselves grappling with a question that has dogged them through multiple deployments: Was the sacrifice worth the price that US forces paid here?
Torah speaks about two types of war: war of necessity and war of permission; the war in Iraq was not necessary, but the war did represent a prophetic point in human history – the final war of Gog and Mogog. Bush promised a hundred years of war, but now war is over.
The Iraqi War was prophetic, a combination of time, names and incidents. The 2000 years of Rome had expired, the year Mars came closest to Earth was the same year the war began, 2003 or 5663 in the Hebrew calendar; 63 is directly connected to the animal.
The last king of Rome to occur in the future is referred to by ancients as Irom/Naked because of the embarrassment brought upon his people at a time of great opulence and arrogance. Bush in Hebrew means Embarrassment. Two years later Katrina topples Rome.
The Cabala explains, Keter/Crown (the same consonants as Katrina) is the highest level of chaos; Tohu also means Chaos, identified as Mars from where the animal stems and to whom Rome prays – to the God of War. This year 5772 relates to the human being, then comes 777.
