Beekeepers from Minnesota and across the country have asked the federal government for a temporary ban on one the most widely used pesticides until its effect on bees is clear.
The land of Israel is commonly known as the Land of Milk and Honey; the Cabala explains, Milk epitomizes Chesed/Kindness while Honey symbolizes Gevorah/Severity – in small amounts honey is sweet, but too much honey is poison. A small amount of severity goes a long way.
Herod, the freed slave who Rome placed as king over the Jewish People 2000 years ago, was renown for his cruelty. Once, Herod put his eye on a beautiful Jewish woman who, rather than be taken by the king, killed herself by jumping from a rooftop but the king took her anyway.
Herod put the young woman into a cauldron of honey to preserve her body from the disintegration of death, even though nothing stands before death – the most severe human experience. Another example of the severity of honey is the bee that stings and sometimes even kills.
To kill bees on a massive scale requires a substance even more severe than honey – pesticides. By poisoning the bees, the kindness derived from the plants cannot be realized. The proper balance between Chesed/Kindness and Gevorah/Severity is essential to life on Earth.

THE CABALA OF CHARITY
The Vatican has launched a rare criminal investigation to uncover who is behind leaks of highly sensitive documents that allege corruption and financial mismanagement in Vatican City.
The religion of money or the money of religion is antithetical to spirituality. The Cabala expresses this sentiment in a metaphor: the soul is compared to a pane of glass but once in this world the pane of glass requires a veneer of silver to survive, producing a mirror.

THE CABALA OF EVOLUTION
A fossil discovered in Ethiopia suggests that humans' prehistoric relatives may have lived in the trees for a million years longer than was previously thought.

THE CABALA OF KILLING
The U.S. government has paid $50,000 in compensation for each of the Afghan villagers who were killed in a shooting rampage in which an American soldier faces murder charges, Afghan officials said Sunday; families of the wounded received $11,000 per injured victim.
What is the monetary worth of a human being? Ground, plants and animals all have determined values but the human being, other than being sold into slavery, is valueless because the human being has unlimited potential; the human soul is not limited by instinct.
The numbers chosen by the US government happens to correspond to the two cabalistic numbers representing chaos – 11 and 50. The Ten Sefirot/Luminaries, the cabalistic atom known as the Tree of Life, is the prototype of creation, but the source comes from Keter/Crown – eleven.

Most atheists are anti-religion not anti-God because religion teaches that God is finite, even human; in the ancient languages of Hebrew, Arabic and Sanskrit there is no word for religion. Tifila/Prayer means To Tie, while religion means to Retie the connection with God.
The angel of the Earth, Matatron, ties the prayers of our world to Heaven. The Cabala, using the example of a rope tied between Heaven and Earth, explains how prayers rise up through the hierarchy of angels who kiss each prayer, making them acceptable before the Creator.
Atheism rejects spiritual entities as false gods which is in line with the Torah who considers them Elohim Acharim/Other Gods. In ancient times, people prayed to these false gods to get what they wanted, but this is considered stealing from Heaven – Avoda Zera/Strange Worship.

Mercury is the smallest of the planets, and despite being known from antiquity Mercury has proven hard to study due to its proximity to the Sun,; new results, find evidence for a solid shell just outside the planet's core, a feature found on no other world.
Scientists are dismayed by the diversity of the planets because, according to their theories describing the creation of the Solar System there should be much more similarities than they find. Scientists lack any logical explanation for the diversity found in the Solar System.
According to the Cabala, the pattern of the Sun and the nine planets corresponds directly to the Ten Sefirot/Luminaries, also known as the Tree of Life. The Sun corresponds to the first Sefira called Chochma/Power of What, compared to a hot coal harboring heat while exuding light.

THE CABALA OF SMOKING
A federal appeals court ruled on Monday that the government’s requirement that tobacco companies put graphic warning labels on cigarette packs was constitutional and did not violate the companies’ freedom of speech.
Cigarettes are an addictive substance without benefit; the addictive substances with benefit, like opium, cocaine and marijuana are illegal – the reason why tobacco continue to exist and thrive is because of the spiritual component inherent in the act of smoking.
The three letters of the word Ashun/Smoke is an acronym for: Olam/World, Shana/Time and Nefesh/Soul; the word Ashun/Smoke also has the gematria of 420 – giving some clue as to what should be smoked. The native Americans smoke as a means of prayer – substance rising to heaven.
The Zohar-Book of Secret teaches, The first substance of creation was smoke caused from the breaking of the Hard Light to make space for creation. The desire to smoke comes from a longing of the soul invested in the body to reconnect with the original light of the Creator.
The sacred art of smoking and the deep-seated desire to inhale smoke into the lungs has been cooped by tobacco companies. There is no mention of smoking in the Torah, but the major ingredient in the incense burned on the the golden altar in the Temple was, KaniBasim/Cannabis.

THE CABALA OF HATRED
In a shooting at a school in a residential neighborhood of Toulouse, in the worst attack on a Jewish target in France in 30 years, a teacher and his two children, aged three and six, and the eight-year-old daughter of the school’s director were killed.
The Midrash-Book of Metaphor says, When the Torah was given to the Jewish People 3500 years ago, God asked for reassurance the Torah would be kept; the people offered their word but God said, You are going to die – then they offered their fathers who were already dead.

Life is short when 100 is a long time because each stage of life teaches a new secret and by 100 the person is wise but ready to die. Life is a conundrum made worse by our desire for pleasure; the Cabala considers pleasure to be the spiritual source of life.

THE CABALA OF THE GALAXY
NASA has just released a stunning new map of the heavens that catalogs over 560 million objects captured by NASA's infrared space telescope; The 2D map shows the Milky Way Galaxy, shaped like a disk.
According to scientific cosmology, There was a big bang then suddenly creation appeared; according to religious cosmology, There was not a big bang then suddenly creation appeared – according to the Cabala, God engraved into the Hard Light making space for creation.

An experiment to repeat testing the speed of subatomic particles known as neutrinos has found that they do not upend Einstein's theory of relativity but rather travel precisely at the speed of light.

New research from NASA suggests, Prolonged periods in the bluey-black beyond might cause serious damage to the eyes; often, American astronauts returning from space cannot focus their vision properly – for some the problem seems permanent.

THE CABALA OF THE CROSS
Two British women believe they have the right to wear a cross in the workplace; both were fired after refusing to remove the necklaces because their employers state: jewelry does not comply with uniform policy, and that wearing a cross is not a requirement of Christians.
The cross is the most anti-Semitic symbol imaginable – implicating the Jewish People as God-Killers; studies have concluded, The Jewish population would be hundreds of millions instead of 14 million, were it not for this pernicious story of Jesus on the cross, revered as God.

A new study published in the Archives of Internal Medicine finds that daily consumption of red meat — particularly processed meat like bacon— may be riskier than carnivores realize.

THE CABALA OF LEVITATION
It was 4:35 a.m. today when the block-long transporter carrying a 340-ton, 21-foot-high boulder wrapped in white plastic pulled up in front of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art for the Levitated Mass exhibition.
This feat has already been accomplished 3000-years-ago when Shlomo, King of Israel, erected the Temple in Jerusalem; the massive stones used in the construction were precisely positioned one inch back from lower stone so when looking up, the wall would appear vertical.

Purim, the Jewish holiday rooted in the Book of Esther recalls a failed Persian plot to exterminate the Jews; Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu gave President Obama a copy of the Book of Esther during a visit this week in which the two discussed the tension with Iran.
The Book of Esther, a story taking place 2500-years-ago in Iran, is the only book in the Torah leaving God’s Name unmentioned anywhere in the text; the Cabala explains, The word Esther comes from Hester/Hidden – thus the custom of dressing in costumes portraying good and bad.

THE CABALA OF DARK MATTER
A lonely clump of dark matter 2.4 billion light-years from Earth is confounding scientists by its mere presence; galaxies are thought to reside inside larger masses of dark matter and to stay attached, these galaxies, left their dark matter cocoons in the dust.
The Cabala is able to explain this scientific dilemma by referring to the Zohar-Book of Secret describing creation as being engraved out of a Hard Light – a light without space or what we know as Dark Matter. A celestial breath engraved the Hard Light with letters.
From the breath was distilled water and out the water came fire; letters and their equivalent numbers, were strewn throughout creation – each a star of light or darkness. If so, what can account for a galaxy being free from the Black Matter that houses galaxies everywhere.
The Torah describes how the Ten Commandments were engraved, with the Finger of God, inside a sapphire cube from one side to the other, but miraculously read on both sides. All letters were attached to the stone but one – the letter Samach in the shape of a zero.
Miraculously, this one letter was not attached to the stone, but instead hung suspended in the hollow of the space; all creation is likened to the zero hanging in space, unattached to the place from where we were hewn out. From the separation comes the great longing to reconnect.

Whereas, other nations have political agendas regarding power and wealth, Iran struggles to bring about world-wide redemption, as do the zealots in Israel through the coming of Moshiach, also prophesied to bring peace to the world. With so much peace why is there war?

THE CABALA OF GOD MARS
Stargazers will have an opportunity to glimpse Mars, while opposition occurs with the Sun; the Red Planet’s actual closest approach to Earth will not come until Monday, March 5, when the two bodies are separated by about 63 million miles.
The number 63 in the Cabala is the root of severity, derived from the YHVH in a method called Milluim/Filling. Inside the YHVH are four different spellings of the four letters rendering four interior numbers. Each number corresponds to one of the Four Worlds.
These four worlds, through cause and effect, allow the filtering of OreAinSof/LightWithoutEnd into the Ten Sefirot/Luminaries corresponding to the Sun the nine planets. The first two numbers have significant gematria, number value, 45/Adom/Human and 52 Behama/Animal.
The next two numbers, 63 the essence of the animal and 72 the essence of the human being, correspond to Mars and Earth. The previous world, Tohu/Chaos, was on Mars; the Earth is called Tikun/Fixing the 288 sparks that fell from Tohu/Chaos seeding life inside of the earth.

THE CABALA OF LITTLE MONSTER
Leaders of the 27-member European Union Friday repeated calls on Syrian President Bashar al-Asad to step down and stressed that the EU will increase its pressure on the Syrian regime to end the violence.
His father, Hafex al-Asad, killed tens of thousands while the son kills thousands; the father was a monster – the son is a little monster. The world helplessly watches while the monster devourers his people, but there are more people than monster – power to the people.
The Talmud-Book of Law relates stories about ethereal monsters coming from spiritual worlds wrecking havoc upon the earth; but, these monsters, in their 42 year rule, are human beings. Asad in Arabic mean Lion; the lion has great attributes but the lion is an animal.
The Cabala explains, The lion, one of the four faces on the Merchava/Chariot is the spiritual root of all wild animals from the side of Chesed/Kindness. The human being, built from the YHVH, The Four Letter Name of God, epitomizes kindness by being attentive to creation.
A human monster is far worse than any monster from beyond because the human being has freedom of choice. Shamai, 2000 years ago, saw a skull floating on the water; he said to the skull, You drown because you drown someone and the person who drown you will also drown.

THE CABALA OF REFLECTION
Scientists have been able to determine that there is life on Earth by observing the way the moon reflects light from the earth to analyze earthshine light reflected on the moon for indicators of organic life.
There are two lights of creation; Ore Yashor/Straight Light, fills the void but Ore Chazar/Returning Light is what disturbs the symmetry of being – like the weak power in the atom, the opposite force, though easily overcome, makes a change, causing diversity to emerge.
The moon reflects the light of the sun, and also reflects the light of the earth; all endeavor that happens on the earth is part of the woven beam of light reflected in the moon – the moon is a mirror. The sun is powerful but the moon is deeper and goes further.
The sun is gold with light but the moon is white with a silver lining to reflect the light. The light of the sun blinds the eyes but the moon is like milk; she is the queen accompanied through the skies on the wings of clouds in the hands of the stars, changing continually.
The Cabala explains, The returning light of creation is greater since the mirror image reflects back further than where the original light was first emanated from. Every aspect of human endeavor upon the earth, be it dark or light, is reflected in our collective portrait.

THE CABALA OF FOSSIL FLEAS
Newly found fossils of fleas, 165 million years old, show that the critters were almost an inch in length and had blood-sucking mouthpieces that scientists say were used to penetrate tough hides.
The Torah delineates six separate times sequences each a thousand years long; many ancient cultures recall a time when the human being lived for a thousand years – animals, given a long period of time, will grow large. Even time goes faster given the proper environment.
The Cabala describes our generation as, A dwarf standing on the shoulders of a giant. Our reliance on technology shows our weakness to survive, but out of darkness comes a new light – the purpose of creation. Without purpose, creation has no meaning and no future.
The purpose of life is beyond survival; rather, each division of time epitomizes one the six emotions, the prototype to the six days of the week according to the six days of creation. On the first day light was created – emblematic to the first attribute, Chesed/Kindness.
