Science-fiction legend Ray Bradbury died in his California home Wednesday, age 91; Bradbury will long endure as a fierce critic of thought control.
The gematria of number 91 is a composite of two Names of God: YHVH and Adonoi; there are seven Names that cannot be erased according to Jewish Law and these two Names are the first, YHVH, and the seventh, Adonoi – both Names have four letters used to describe the 24 hours of time.
The three combinations of the four letters of YHVH make up the 12 hours of day and the three combinations of the four letters of Adonoi make up the 12 hours of day – the Torah teaches, there is no day without a night. To reach the age of 91 seems to indicate a complete life.
The mind need not wither as does the body, on the contrary, those who use their minds are often sharp right up until the end; allowing others to control what you think deadens the mind and hampers to spirit. The greatest mental exercise is to challenge the future, as did Bradbury.
The number 91 is also the gematria of Malekim/Angels; the Cabala describes seven levels of angels also known as Messengers who retrieve spent souls from the earth and elevate them into the heavens. Truth is stranger than fiction and for a fiction writer truth must be a whole new world.
