Sunday's spectacular flotilla on London's River Thames marked Queen Elizabeth's 60th year on the throne; Elizabeth is only the second monarch to mark 60 years on the throne – she is also on course to become the longest-serving British sovereign in 2015.
The Talmud-Book of Law encourages the Jewish People to run after royalty even if the monarch is not Jewish. The reason for this advice relates to the nature of Malchut/Royalty – the tenth of the Ten Sefirot/Luminaries also known as the Tree of Life, the cabalistic atom.
This tenth sefira is related to the power of speech – the monarch rules by the word; the king commands and the people obey. One of the 613 Commandments given to the Jewish People is to place a king upon the people. The final king will be King Moshiach – soon in our time.
The king is symbolized by the crown, called in Cabala – Keter Malchut/Crown of Royalty; the crown is the highest form of light while Royalty is the lowest. Royalty is the transition between one set of Ten Sefirot to the next set, in the same way royalty is generational.
The offspring of royalty insures the continuity of the bloodline; in the case of the Queen of England, they claim their their blood goes back to James brother of Jesus. According to the Zohar-Book of Secret, Jesus was Moshiach ben Yoseph – from the Jewish People will come Moshiach ben Dovid.
