THE CABALA OF PERFECT

Matt Cain pitched the first perfect game in the Giants' rich, 130-year history, a 10-0 decision over the Houston Astros; Cain distinguished the 22nd perfect game in Major League history by striking out 14 batters.

This game is full of gematria, the number value of words; 130 is the weight of the silver plate used in the dedication of the Temple and is also the value of the word Chazikya/Strength of God; 14 is the gematria of Yad/Arm; ten is complete and 22 is essence.

Baseball has an interesting cabalistic component in that it is made of three triangles, as is the Tree of Life also known as the Eser Sefirot/Ten Luminaries – the pitcher is the tenth. To be perfect is to be God-like for only God is perfect, but last night so was Cain.

Ancient mishaps can be corrected is strange ways, for example Cain, the first child born to the first human beings Adom and Chava, killed his brother Hevel out of anger and jealousy, but now Cain has won in a fair game by being perfect by the score of 10 to nothing.

Ten is a whole; there are ten bodies in our Solar System that are reflected in the three oceans and seven continents of our world – the body is made of three triangles culminating in the power of speech, but last night Cain spoke with his arm, not in killing but in pitching.
