THE CABALA OF WOMEN

On the 40th anniversary of the law that ended gender discrimination in schools, President Barack Obama reflects on how 40 years of ensuring equal education, in and out of the classroom, regardless of gender has produced a generation of strong women.

The number forty is characterized in the Torah by the middle letter of the Hebrew alphabet Mem, the only letter when spelled out does not used another letter; where other letter break down infinitely because of their use of other letters, the Mem is endemically finite.

The letter Mem is formed like a box with four equal side at 90 degree angles; though our world is round, nonetheless, everything fits in a box. The box for women use to pretty small but has expanded over 40 years. The male box and the female box are beginning to merge into one box.

The Zohar-Book of Secret explains, there is no peace when the masculine is separated from the feminine – even the day must have a night and left must a right. The word Shalom often translates as Peace; a less known translation is, Complete. Without Peace nothing is complete.

The number indicates completion: it rained for 40 days during the flood, Moshe was on the mountain for forty days; forty years in the desert, forty measurement of water in a Mikva/Gathering of Water for purification and before 40 days the zygote is not considered life.
