Scientists in the Arctic have discovered the largest ever under-ice bloom of phytoplankton, likening the discovery to finding the Amazon rainforest in the middle of the Mojave Desert.
The Earth is alive; God spoke and the world was – the Word of God remains forever and forever will the world live. Life does not just happen and scientists who explore life, will all their tools and technological advances, can not create new life from inanimate material.
The Misrash-Book of Metaphor exclaims, Life hangs on the delicate balance of a hair; the Talmud-Book of Law says, One should view their actions as if the entire world is balanced between good and bad – each conscious decision turns the earth between merit or the opposite – fault.
The delicate balance of the environment and many surprises unearthed by science corroborates what the Cabala teaches, The world could have been made more simple but God wanted to express the open hand of the Creator through the diversity of creation – life without end.
The most inhospitable places on the Earth sprout life because the world is alive. In the future, life will be heard – the rock will say, Don’t walk on me unless you go to do the Will of the Creator; food will say, Bless God before partaking in my fruit.
