The central theme of President Obama's State of the Union address last night was the notion that in America, everybody deserves a fair shake; the President also made a plea for unity, evoking the 50 stars and thirteen stripes.
Before coming to the Land of Israel, the Jewish People, divided into 12 tribes, spent forty years walking in the Wilderness; they moved together in the form of a box – three tribes to a side. In the center of the 12 Tribes was the thirteenth – the Cohanim, who served God.

The Solar Dynamics Observatory reported a solar flare erupting from the sun on January 22, 2012; the solar energetic particles which erupted from the sun are traveling at a speed of 1,400 miles per second and will hit Earth today.

Demonstrators from the Occupy movement rallied outside the U.S. Capitol today protesting against the influence of money on Congress.

While millions of Americans enjoy a day off for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, a growing number will spend the day by lending a hand in their community.

After several weeks of awful performances, Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow delivered what his fans are calling the latest miracle of his young NFL career.
When Tim Tebow first went into the huddle in the first game he played with the Denver Boncos he said to his teammates, "Just believe in me," and miracles began to happen before the whole world and the miracles are continuing. The power of Emuna/Faith is great.

THE CABALA OF WAR
President Obama has outlined a broad new military strategy for the United States, one that makes clear that American ground forces will no longer be large enough to conduct prolonged, large-scale counterinsurgency campaigns like those in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Entering into office three years ago, inheriting a promise of a hundred year war, Obama has ended war before the conclusion of his first four year term; in addition, the president is beginning to dismantle the military-industrial complex – shifting towards defense.

Entering into office three years ago, inheriting a promise of a hundred year war, Obama has ended war before the conclusion of his first four year term; in addition, the president is beginning to dismantle the military-industrial complex – shifting towards defense.
The world-wide longing for peace will overcome the paranoia of political leaders as was promised in the Torah thousands of years ago – a time when the entire world, in one voice would acknowledge the sanctity of life. Prophecy, as promised, is happening before our eyes.

THE CABALA OF LIFE EVERYWHERE
Scientists doing their first exploring of deep-sea vents in the Antarctic said it was unlike anything found around other hydrothermal vents -- a world populated by new species of anemones, predatory sea stars, and piles of hairy-chested yeti crabs.
Astronomers wonder at the diversity of the planets surmising, if a common apparatus was responsible for their formation then there should also be similarity in their structure – but, there is not. On the Earth the same question can be asked, Why so much diversity?
The Torah gives a simple explanation to this conundrum, Diversity shows on the greatness of God; one color is not beautiful – many colors mixed together are beautiful. The Cabala maintains, Because God said there would be life on planet Earth, there is life everywhere.
Life will always be on planet Earth because God is King and the word of the King stands forever, everywhere, all the time. Life is more than the accumulation of atoms into molecules; life is the fire in the blood animating the flesh – fire is the highest of the four elements.
Earth moves, but very slowly; plants grow but are planted in the ground; animals run; humans think and go beyond their nature. The soul is also made of four elements corresponding to the four levels of life – fire, whose nature is to go up, is the soul of man.

THE CABALA OF THE HOLY LAND
The chief Israeli and Palestinian peace negotiators are holding their first face-to-face meeting in more than a year, searching for a formula to restart long-stalled negotiations; with prospects for a breakthrough dim, the Palestinian president threatened new measures.
These perennial meetings to remind the world of this ancient unresolved conflict are like a repeating bad dream. Most conflicts between peoples are resolved by making a border, but the Land of Israel is different because Israel is a storied land given by God.
The Torah teaches, God began the Torah with an account of creation to established God's right to give the land to the Jewish People for the performance of the 613 Commandments – one of the commandments is, living with the Palestinians. Politics is not a commandment.
The Cabala teaches, The Land of Israel, particularly the ancient capital of Jerusalem, are meant to be beacons of light to the world, not to stage political ideologies or religious extremism. God gave boundaries to the land for sake of the Mitzvot/Commandments.
The only real solution to Israel is the No State Solution where the Holy Land is safe for the Jewish People to practice the ways of the Torah. When Moshiach comes the world will love the Jewish People for performing the 613 Commandments that brought forth the light.

The moon’s far side is bulked-up and slightly lopsided, more hilly than the side always facing Earth; recent theories propose a second moon and an ancient collision – the Torah has an explanation based on a different understanding of time. In Torah, time is malleable.
The Cabala explains, The Seven Days of Creation derive from the lower seven attributes of the Ten Siferot/Luminaries also known as the Tree of Life; each of these seven attributes rules a thousand years – thus, the reasoning behind the 6000 years Hebrew calendar.
In the same way the week is broken up into six days of work and one of rest so too the first 6000 years represent work – the present date is 5772. In the first thousand years the attribute of Chesed/Kindness ruled, reflecting a nature gushing with life, even time sped up.

THE CABALA OF CHANGE
Researchers at Johns Hopkins University in Maryland say they have a better way to mark time: a new calendar in which every year is identical to the one before by adding an occasional leap week.
This new calendar, an adaptation of the ancient Hebrew calendar that adds an extra month every few years during the 19 year cycle of the moon to keep the holidays in their season, is a refined version aligning each day – the ultimate pragmatic tool of efficiency.
The Hebrew calendar lacks this exactness to allow diversity to happen – similar scenarios in a slightly different time reference. The Weak Power of the atom exhibits similar attributes causing the diversity of elements through the degradation of matter into energy.
However moments are measured, time is a spiral with large loops at the beginning then funneling down into the apex as life on Earth runs out of time. A year is time that affixes and encapsulates those who will be born and those who will die – this is their year.
